### 3/5 — Works sometimes

*2023-03-07, version 3.7*

Cool app. However needs work as it consistently is convinced Medtronic devices are Biotronik.

### 2/5 — Not reliable

*2020-09-17, version 3.7*

Oftentimes giving 0% for everything, very picky about orientation and sizing. Can make it work sometimes, but not reliably enough for clinical practice. On the plus side looks like there is android version too.

### 2/5 — Can’t wait for the app to get more accurate!

*2020-02-26*

I’ll give it 2 stars because I think it’s an amazing idea and can’t wait for an app like this to exist.

I was hoping they could include a description of the expected response to magnet application for these pacemakers/ICDs.

I was so excited about the whole thing, that I started pulling up images online to see how good it would be at detecting the devices. It got the first few right, but then most of them were wrong, unfortunately.

I love the idea, but would strongly advise not using it to substitute clinical judgement!

Cheers!

### 3/5 — Stopped working

*2019-12-09, version 3.7*

The app worked well a few months ago (the results did vary somewhat with the chest X-ray), but it’s completely stopped working.

### 2/5 — Didn’t work

*2019-08-27, version 3.7*

I tried multiple times on the same patient and it gave me four different responses.

### 1/5 — Health provider review

*2025-06-07, version 3.7*

I needed this app and had the suggestion from a colleague - he had a pacemaker and the app worked. The first time I used it on a patient of mine it didn’t work.

### 1/5 — Was excellent- now worthless

*2025-01-07, version 3.7*

I used to love this app. Now it is almost always wrong. Do not waste time with it.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2023-02-27*

App crashes once you open it

### 1/5 — Something Wong

*2022-02-09, version 3.7*

Took pictures of my pacemaker all good. Took a picture of my friends defibrillator and looks exactly like mine, EXACTLY. THen accidentally took picture of my dog… WOW she has a pacemaker??? Something fishie here…

### 1/5 — Used to work

*2021-06-24, version 3.7*

Used to work much better than the android version. Now doesn't work at all.

### 1/5 — Totally inconsistent

*2021-06-03, version 3.7*

Between my iPhone and my attending’s Android, the app is giving 90+ percent confidence that the same image is two different brands of pacemaker. With multiple X-rays. Cannot recommend.

### 1/5 — Dead ass wrong!!

*2020-05-30, version 3.7*

I’m an ER nurse, a pt presented with a need for pacemaker interrogation but had no info at all regarding pacemaker. The pt had a CXR so I decided to try to app I’ve forever had on my phone with no use. It resulted with a 98% match and a 1% turns out it was the 1% that was a match! What a waste!!!!!

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-10-22, version 3.7*

Had a st Jude pacemaker that when photographed said 99%medtronic then when I took another picture said Biotronik just from a change in picture angle. It never even got the right one on two guesses! Worthless!

### 1/5 — Was dead wrong.

*2019-10-07, version 3.7*

I work in industry and wanted this app to be a huge success. I tested it before recommending it. I pulled up a device patient with a recent chest X-ray. We implanted the device so we knew for a fact what the device is. The app said there was a 99% match to a competitor and a 0% match to the actual manufacturer of the device. I sincerely hope that the app is revised as this app would be a great asset in the hospital setting if it were accurate. So disappointed.

### 1/5 — WRONG

*2019-08-30, version 3.7*

Wrong 2 out of 2 times. On an ILR suggested 40% match on a company that is not even in the ILR market

### 5/5 — It Works

*2021-01-24, version 3.7*

The device has to be very close and well focused within the square. Too close Will get it wrong and a little off or distant -will get you different answers.
