However, the app unexpectedly closed in the middle of the sign up. When I reopened the app, it made me start the process from the beginning. Thanks for letting us know—this was 100 % our bug. A glitch in v1.2 could freeze the sign-up screen before your username was saved, so you never reached the main experience. We’ve already released a hot-fix (v1.3) that eliminates the issue. How to get up and running: - Open the App Store and tap Updates (or search for our app) - Install v1.3 and relaunch - You should be authenticated right into the main experience. About the Photos permission: iOS shows the photo-access prompt because the app lets you add pictures to your profile later.
