## What is Pacenote?

Pacenote: Your Digital Rally Co-Driver
Turn every off-road trail or closed course into a professional rally stage. Pacenote delivers high-fidelity, rally-style navigation using the same terminology as world-class co-drivers. Whether you are scouting a new trail or practicing on the track, Pacenote gives you the confidence to know what’s over the next crest.

Pro-Level Navigation
Forget "Turn left in 200 meters." Pacenote uses a sophisticated grade-based system to describe the severity of corners—just like a real stage. Hear calls like "Right 4 into Left 2, don't cut!" delivered with precise timing based on your GPS speed and position.

Features Built for the Dirt:
Dynamic Pacenotes: Get audible and visual cues for corner severity, distance, and hazards.

Recce Mode: Create your own custom notes for a specific route and play them back during your run.

Background Navigation: Keep your eyes on the terrain. Our background location and foreground service ensure your co-driver keeps talking, even if you switch apps or the screen dims.

Off-Road Optimized: Designed for trails, private tracks, and closed courses where standard maps fail.

Permissions & Privacy:
To provide split-second timing, Pacenote requires Precise Location and Background Location access. This allows the app to track your progress and deliver notes accurately even when the device is mounted and the screen is off to save power or prevent distraction.

WARNING: OFF-ROAD USE ONLY
Pacenote is intended strictly for off-road use on closed courses or private property. It is not recommended for use on public roads. Rallying is a high-risk activity; the user assumes all responsibility for vehicle operation. The developers are not liable for any injury, death, or property damage.

Drive fast, stay safe, and listen to your co-driver.

### 4/5 — Issues Hearing Co-Driver

*2026-06-08*

It appears that for me I am unable to hear my co-driver speaking. Whenever I click the “test voice” button or start a track there is no sound.
