## What is PaceRank?

PaceRank is a pace calculator and race benchmarking tool built for runners and triathletes who want more than just a number. Enter any combination of distance, pace, and time — change one value and the others update instantly. Whether you're planning a marathon, targeting a PR, or dialing in your Ironman splits, PaceRank gives you the clarity to run with a real plan.
The pace calculator is fast and flexible. Switch between miles and kilometres at any time without losing your work. Enter a target finish time and get your required pace. Enter a pace and see your projected finish. The math updates as you scroll, so you can explore scenarios on the fly without juggling a spreadsheet.
What sets PaceRank apart is the ranking engine. Your finish time is compared against results from 107 real races — marathons, ultras, triathlons, and Ironman events ranging from 5K to 100 miles. See where your performance would land in the actual field. Not a percentile estimate, not a generic comparison — real race data, real context.
Planning a race where you want to run the second half faster? The negative splits feature lets you set a split target across any distance and see exactly what pace you need for each half. It's a practical tool for athletes who race with a strategy, not just a goal time.
PaceRank supports custom distances and events so you can track the races that matter to you, not just the standard ones. Training for an unusual ultra or a local event with a non-standard distance? Add it, save it, use it.
The free version gives you access to two races per category so you can try the ranking feature before committing. You'll get a genuine feel for how it works across marathon, ultra, triathlon, and Ironman events.
Pro unlocks the full library of 107 races and removes all limits on custom distances and events. Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription, no recurring charge. Pay once and the full app is yours.

### 5/5 — Super cool app

*2026-06-26*

Very cool app. Will help me train for my future races :)

### 5/5 — Tried it out - works great!

*2026-06-26*

App is well designed and simple, which I can appreciate. I use it on top of my daily Strava runs to plan my workouts. I’m running the Jack and Jill marathon and I’d like to run it sub 3:45 if possible. PaceRank + Strava gives me the accurate data to be able to predict how hard I should be working during each session. Great at turning huge goals into actionable step. Would love to see an ai trainer or nutrition planner for long runs added here too, would be helpful!
