### 3/5 — Was good on older phones

*2026-03-15, version 2.11*

I remember playing this years ago, wanted to pick it up again today but with the new phones it’s not playable with the UI. Could use an overhaul

### 3/5 — Gun and steering

*2025-07-17, version 2.11*

Can’t rotate turrets or turn ships. White line on iPhone to close screen is in the way.

### 3/5 — Good game

*2025-04-23, version 2.11*

It’s a great game but I can’t play it on the newer phones because of the Home Screen bar.

### 4/5 — Great could use some improvement

*2024-04-14, version 2.11*

This is a great game! I would love for them to come and make a massive overhaul of the game. If they can’t, some things I would like added in a normal update, more missions( a bombing Japan would be interesting), the ability to use fighters(strafing, bombing), multiple shells come from one gun, ability to use any gun on any ship, and maybe one or two more ships.
If this is considered that good for me.(and possibly others)

### 3/5 — i miss this game

*2023-10-06, version 2.11*

Y’all need to update the game. It needs a refresher for the newer iphones

### 1/5 — What have you done? Game not functioning!

*2023-09-28, version 2.11*

This used to be a very fine, easy to learn WWII naval warfare game. Now, neither the Lite nor Full versions work at all! First scenario - US sub’s rudder nor armament aim line move at all. Entire screen tries to move instead. Has game not been updated to work on later iPhone versions? Pls look into this!

### 1/5 — Game Unplayable

*2023-09-16, version 2.11*

This game is sadly unplayable on modern iPhones, due to the fact that the controls for your ships are along the bottom of the screen which is intersected by the iPhone bar to minimize or close the app. There are no in game settings to change the location of the control HUD and no settings in iPhone (that I can find) that would help with this. This is a shame since this game was easily my favorite mobile game and I have completed it many times. I can only give 1 star though because of the fact that I can’t play it anymore. I would love to change my rating to 5 stars if the devs were to add an alternate control scheme or add a setting to change the location of the controls on the screen.

### 3/5 — Unplayable now

*2023-09-15, version 2.11*

I used to love this game and it is fantastic but since the iPhone 10 came out and he home bar is right where the steering and aiming controls are the game is completely unplayable. Really tragic that I can’t play one of my favorite games but that’s how it is.

### 1/5 — Need a update to play on I phone 14pro

*2023-08-20, version 2.11*

Enjoyed Pacific Fleet however on the new I phone 14 Pro/Max unable to play due to phone white slide getting in way of adjusting ships Steering and guns. Please fix this bug.

### 1/5 — Your game was the worst

*2023-07-17, version 2.11*

You should remove wind I hate it also add radars on campaign mission for every ship OK!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Can’t play the game

*2023-07-14, version 2.11*

I can’t even aim left or right because the swipe up bar on iOS is in the way

### 3/5 — Интерфейс

*2023-05-30, version 2.11*

На новых айфона начиная с XR играть не реально, белая полоса для выхода из приложения МЕШАТ ЛЮБОЙ МЕХАНИКИ ДВИЖЕНИЯ!

### 1/5 — Unplayable on current more modern iPhones sadly.

*2023-05-14, version 2.11*

The Home Screen bar cuts off several of the controls for the ship making it pretty much impossible to do anything other than go in a a straight line and fire your guns forward. I love the game and will update my review if this gets fixed.

### 1/5 — Unplayable on the iPhone 14

*2023-04-23, version 2.11*

Currently, the game is unplayable, because the homer whatever little bar blocks me from firing weapons and directing my guns. Please update the game soon. Thank you.

### 4/5 — Please Update

*2023-03-19, version 2.11*

I really love this game, but I can’t play it now that I have a newer phone. The Home bar doesn’t go away when this game is running, which makes it impossible to adjust your aim. Your phone thinks that you’re trying to change apps. Please update this game to make the Home bar go away when it’s running.

### 4/5 — “Pacific Fleet 2.0” Please

*2023-02-15, version 2.11*

This game is so fun, but the graphics. But if the company would please make a new version of this game with more ships and planes, and better graphics, it would be a hit. Please make “Pacific Fleet 2.0”. That would be awesome.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Does not work with latest iPad Pro

*2026-08-05, version 2.11*

Games shudders a lot and is very slow. Not recommended if you have iPad Pro.

### 1/5 — Outdated

*2025-11-12, version 2.11*

I love Atlantic Fleet but prefer Pacific theatre on sims. Pacific Fleet desperately needs updating closer to Atlantic Fleet in all respects.. Is this possible?

### 1/5 — Unable to play

*2025-09-28, version 2.11*

The controls for rudder and weapon aiming no longer work because they are too close to the bottom edge, so trying to use them on current iPhones triggers the app swipe.

### 1/5 — DOESNT WORK ON NEWER DEVICES WITHOUT A PHYSICAL HOME BUTTON

*2025-09-21, version 2.11*

You physically can’t move the horizontal axis of the ships

### 1/5 — Deleted it Immediately

*2025-08-18, version 2.11*

Wasted $5.99 on this turkey. No rangefinder available to even have a chance of hitting enemy ships? Really? Most torpedoes fired by player are duds? Avoid this failure.

### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2025-07-19, version 2.11*

Faulty download, I had paid my fee and the app didn’t perform as it was supposed to. Ships jumping sideways and no accumulation of Renown. I deleted to try to reboot. No luck so I have waisted my money

### 1/5 — Unplayable on new phones

*2025-01-05, version 2.11*

Can’t adjust course on new phones without sliding to Home Screen

### 1/5 — Needs update

*2024-12-06, version 2.11*

Unplayable with newer phones. When adjustments to rudder or gun training, the entire scree shifts leaving it almost impossible to aim or steer the ship. Please fix.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2024-11-26, version 2.11*

This game has been rendered unplayable either by the newest iOS update or new phones. It’s impossible to adjust course without swiping to another app.

### 1/5 — Completely unusable on iPhone 13

*2024-02-16, version 2.11*

I’m sure it’s a great game. I bought it because I’ve had the Atlantic Fleet Lite version for years, but this game doesn’t work. At the bottom of the screen there is a small and narrow interface that you use during battle to maneuver your vessels and rotate the turrets. These interfaces are so low in this version of the game that they border the edge of the screen and therefore when you try to set your aim or course, the phone thinks you’re trying to leave the window and acts accordingly. There is literally no way to aim or steer. This is a problem 100% of the time. Love these games but buyers beware. Not sure how many other phones this affects as well.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Still playing in 2026

*2026-02-06, version 2.11*

This game is very good

### 5/5 — I need slots for all the ships

*2026-01-03, version 2.11*

it is just as good as the free version

### 5/5 — Just one bug

*2023-03-21, version 2.11*

Had a lot of fun with this game, but you can’t play it on a newer telephone, I hope they fix it.

### 5/5 — iPhone update

*2022-11-22, version 2.11*

Please update the app to support phones with no home button.

I love this game but I havnt been able to play since trying to move target line is impossible due to how the home bar at the bottom of the screen.

### 5/5 — Needs compatibility update

*2022-10-23, version 2.11*

I absolutely love this game but in the newer devices it just doesn’t allow the ship to turn of the guns to aim. Not even sure if this game is still supported but I hope it gets the update it needs to make it playable again

### 5/5 — Longtime Owner Requesting Fix

*2022-06-30, version 2.11*

This is a great game I’ve owned for years. Because I have had the game so long, the controls are now underneath the white bar used to minimize the app screen and send you back to the Home Screen . Can you develop a fix for this?

### 5/5 — I love this game

*2022-06-07, version 2.11*

Make another maybe with land support missions?

### 5/5 — Underrated Gem of a Naval Combat Game!

*2022-03-29, version 2.11*

This is by far my favorite naval combat mobile game. This is a turn based game that does a better job of making you feel immersed than most real-time naval games. The animations, while not stunning from a technical perspective (though they still look great) really nail the realistic look of naval battles. Apart from shells in flight (which are made more visible so you can actually see them), everything looks like what it would in real life. And while moves are done in turns, the animations are at realistic speeds. This means, for example, a sinking ship may still be visible through multiple turns, depending on how long you take. Because while the ship counts as sunk from a gameplay perspective, the animation moves in real time rather than being turn based, keeping it immersive. Other animations have realistic speeds too, such as dive bomber making its attack run. Even the anti-aircraft fire looks tremendous. Little details like this really make this game special to me.

But what about the gameplay itself? Well, let me first say that you’ll want to read through the guides before playing, and read through them again after playing your first few missions. The manual provides everything you need to know, but there is no real tutorial. I made it all the way through my first campaign without reading the manual, so it can be done. But you’ll miss so much. For example, I wasn’t sure why I was getting such varied readings on my radar for one of my ships, but not the other. I wasn’t sure if the damage done to specific meters on the enemy ship was randomized or calculated based on where the ship was hit. I thought it was a bug that readings sometimes didn’t match what was actually occurring. I didn’t realize that selecting “scuttle all ships” was not simply an “exit battle” button, and actually had significant consequences! It never occurred to me that there were hidden and sometimes hardened weak points such as hangars and magazines. And I didn’t even notice that you could see where a ship was flooding based on its visible list, and that this reflected where you had damaged it! There are SO many hidden mechanics in this game that make it more fun, realistic, and immersive. I recommend reading the manual so that you understand how to use them to your advantage.

Finally, this is just a straight up game. No nonsense micro transactions, no ads, no subscriptions, no signing up for an account on another site, none of the annoying stuff that has become almost ubiquitous in modern games.

Now this game isn’t perfect. I’ve encountered one or two minor bugs, the ship selection UI is a bit clumsy and counter-intuitive, but these are minor nitpicks. The fact is, this is the first mobile game I’ve played in years that I was actually excited about. I actually looked forward to getting off work just so that I could play some more. That alone would earn it five stars for me. Of course, I did not have high expectations when I downloaded this game, so that influenced my experience. I do hope that my high praise does not affect your experience!

Note: I have not tried the multiplayer yet

### 5/5 — Need fixing

*2021-12-08, version 2.11*

Been playin this game for about 6 years and i love every bit of it. But i got a new iphone. The iphone 12 to be exact and i cant turn my ship nor guns because the slide bar on the phone. Please fix
