### 1/5 — Broken?

*2025-06-02*

I’m guessing they lost funding. Nothing works.

### 1/5 — Not good for hikers or campers

*2021-07-17*

If you want to pay for reservations at campgrounds or entry to caves/attractions, this is the app for you. If you want information on hiking trails, don’t bother. Road condition and campground status is not available here. Very disappointing.

### 5/5 — Looks good so far.

*2020-09-17*

So far I’ve only skimmed it on my iPhone, but it looks like a great resource with much potential. I’m about to install it on my iPad and really dig in. I’ve got a good feeling that it will be an often used app.

### 1/5 — No maps

*2019-07-05*

No actual maps load. Useless!!

### 3/5 — Slow, Awkward, no info on USFS Recreation Passes

*2018-05-31*

Good idea, not well executed. Trails missing from the “map”. Recreation passes tab shows info on WA State Discover passes, WDFW passes and Snopark passes - - NOTHING about the NW Forest Pass ??

Many tabs go to links to internet web pages. Hello?! It’s Wilderness and National Forest, data access is not commonly available. An app of this type should allow the user to temporarily store all info for an area of interest for offline use

**Developer response:** Thanks for the concrete feedback. In response to your concerns. We didn't include trails on the maps for a couple of reasons?: 1) the vast majority of trails originate at a trailhead that is geospecific (we can easily drop a latitude/longitude point), whereas trails are linear features often with connections to other trails that all make it very difficult to drop a logical lat/long reference point; 2) in order to keep the app downloads to a reasonable size, we had to be somewhat selective on what information we cached. We decided that trailheads would be the better thing to cache because they are the collecting "bucket" for trails. But it was a hard decision. We are hopeful to figure out a way of optimizing the app size so we can include for offline trail information. We will be incorporating a lot more information about the NW Forest Pass with an update going live later on today. Thanks again for your feedback. I hope you enjoy the updates. Happy trails!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2018-05-26*

A wonder mobile companion with lots of useful information about all of the Pacific Northwest’s wonderful national forests!

**Developer response:** We're so happy that you have found the app useful. We sure hope that it has enhanced your outdoor adventures' experiences.
