### 2/5 — Can’t tell if I paid?

*2026-02-18, version 5.0.1*

The app doesn’t provide any confirmation of pending payments in the billing page and just continues to show the outstanding balance as a balance due. So if I pay today and then check tomorrow, it still shows as a fully outstanding bill. I’ve had it happen where I accidentally paid twice in one month because the app shows I didn’t pay even though I swore up and down that I did, but because my payment method also didn’t show it yet, I didn’t know I’d already paid. This is obnoxious and shouldn’t be that hard to add a “pending” on there for any pending payments?

### 1/5 — comically horrible

*2025-10-14, version 5.0.1*

This thing wouldn’t let me sign in if its life depended on it. I successfully created and activated my account with the help of some over-the-phone assistance. After that, I have successfully signed in one time last month.
Today I sign in to check up on my usage, and it says my account may not be active.
I am ready to throw hands.
Eff. This. App.

### 2/5 — Meh

*2025-09-24, version 5.0.0*

I can’t sign into the app anymore to view my bill or pay my bills. Worked fine then it said they updated something and I need to change my password which I did and I still can’t sign in

### 2/5 — Annoying

*2025-08-27, version 5.0.0*

The app works fine for checking your usage and viewing/paying your bills. I do appreciate the outage map during extended outages. However, the app never remembers your preference for Biometric logins for more than two weeks, and you have to enter your credentials. Why bother storing a preference for biometric login when it’s gonna break in a couple weeks? This has been an issue with this app forever and it seems like PP doesn’t give a rat’s ash about fixing it.

### 1/5 — Nearly useless

*2025-07-16, version 5.0.0*

Hope you remember your password. Because it doesn’t. If even you use facial recognition, it constantly “forgets” your password & you have to relogin, & re-add biometrics over-&-over again.

### 1/5 — WORTHLESS APP

*2025-07-11, version 5.0.0*

This company is likely billions and this is the cheap app they provide us despite over charging customers for electricity.

### 1/5 — Why have app as poor as this??

*2025-06-07, version 5.0.0*

I would have given maybe a half of a star, but none listed. I also have a Northern Lights app for a residence in western Montana, it’s far more a better and useful. The only thing this app is good for is showing you how badly you’re getting taken by Pacificcorp!

### 1/5 — Sorry

*2025-05-14, version 5.0.0*

If you have to use it then I’m sorry but you have to use it. Horrible app. Can’t use face recognition so get ready to use another password every single time you want to pay. Only way

### 1/5 — VERY bad… embarrassingly bad.

*2025-04-16*

This app is abysmal. Constantly kicks out biometric login (faceID), forcing you to re log in with your credentials. Can’t set up or modify auto pay… can’t do Apple Pay… constantly errors when trying to view usage… can only see last 6mo of billing… I could keep going on. Their actual website is far more functional as you can do all the things I just stated. This app may as well been designed in 2010, and I have no idea why it’s even offered being so limited and restricted. For all the “necessary rate increases” Pacific Power insists on having, you’d think they would take some of that income and at least design an app that works properly. Shameful.

### 1/5 — Truly Awful

*2025-04-15, version 5.0.0*

Login either face id is completely dysfunctional. Weekly errors in loading the pages like usage history within the app. The app is an excellent example of why America is circling the drain. Cheers!

### 1/5 — Have to resign in every month

*2025-01-30, version 5.0.0*

Face ID never stays, I set it up every time I log in but without fail, I have to use my password to log in every time. Love that people have been complaining about this for more than three years and it’s still not fixed 🙃

### 1/5 — Trash app

*2025-01-19, version 5.0.0*

Can’t stay signed into the app. Garbage.

### 1/5 — App STOPPED using ID multi verify alerts!

*2025-01-03, version 5.0.0*

App finally accomplished face ID but NOW has dropped the text/email verification!
It took years for app to accomplish using face ID!
I want both face ID plus the text/email verification number!

### 2/5 — Asks me to reauthorize Face ID almost every time I use the app

*2024-11-22, version 4.3.3*

The app works fine but it frequently requires me to enter my password because my Face ID authorization has expired. Other apps are able to use Face ID without me having to reauthorize it every week or two, why can’t this app?

### 1/5 — Biometrics

*2024-11-09, version 4.3.3*

I would NEVER use KUBRA. Pathetic that here we are a year later and it still hasn’t been fixed. Sounds like your fast charge stations as well. NOTHING fixed. WHY even have biometrics when you force everyone to sign in most of the time? What an asinine waste of time.

### 2/5 — Poor quality

*2024-10-30, version 4.3.3*

Features don’t work as advertised, contact links are broken, it shows incorrect account data, just a sad implementation

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2024-08-25, version 4.3.3*

Wouldn’t even let me finish the activation. Just kept taking me in circles. The link provided kept taking me to the sign in page but wouldn’t let me finish the activation. Messed with it for half an hour and deleted it.

### 1/5 — JUNK

*2024-08-13, version 4.3.3*

This app makes you change your password once a week. It is the worst and most irritating app I have ever had on my phone. You would think that a company like pacific power would try a little harder to no have such a poorly designed app. I would be embarrassed to have this represent my company. No stars!

### 1/5 — As others have said

*2024-08-09, version 4.3.3*

This app offers facial recognition but it doesn’t actually work. Looking at the other reviews, this has been a problem for more than 2 years. Is anyone at Pacific Power even paying attention to these reviews?!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-04-08, version 5.0.1*

Can’t even use the damn thing you’re constantly having to reset passwords that it will then forget the next time you try to use it

### 1/5 — Poor logon screen

*2026-03-25, version 5.0.1*

The app login screen is half used up on my iPhone by pretty pictures that change. The rest of the screen is occupied by the keyboard, which means it is nearly impossible to select the field to type in username and password. Somehow I succeeded, and it provides less outage information than their telephone system. Why bother?

### 1/5 — Same issue every month

*2026-02-19, version 5.0.1*

Would rate ZERO if I could. This has been going on for a VERY LONG TIME. Check your dang reviews. People have been saying the SAME THING over and over and over again. This happened EVERY MONTH and EVERY TIME I try to use the app. Face ID doesn't work or save. Forces to use username and password. Password not accepted and it forces you to change it due to "security policies". Try to test password and the email it sends doesn't send the link to actually reset the password. Have to call in order to get a password reset email sent. Log in with rep on phone and all is good. Log out and try to log back in and you're back in the EXACTT SAME POSITION.
Same thing happens in the website. I have to change my password EVERY MONTH. WHY!?what in the actual eff are you guys doing? Fix this garbage before people stop paying you at all and go independent from city power

### 1/5 — Bad implementation of 2FA

*2026-02-08, version 5.0.1*

It makes absolutely no sense to make us re-validate FaceID (or, I assume, TouchID) every month. I’m forced to use 2FA for the app, but it expires on a monthly basis. So, every time I use it.

### 1/5 — Use website

*2026-02-03, version 5.0.1*

This app is the worst payment system I have ever used and their website is almost just as bad. The system never remembers your log in information and always tells you it’s wrong. The password requirements are ridiculous. The Face ID to log in never works and now I tried to reset my password because it’s forcing me to and it says click the link to reset password and there’s no link. Incompetent and lazy. At this point your system sucks because you’re putting profit ahead of usability.

### 1/5 — Biometrics

*2026-01-27, version 5.0.1*

What is the point of offering biometrics if you have to give it permission every single time I log in once a month.

### 1/5 — Keeps getting worse

*2026-01-23, version 5.0.1*

I can never get in now. I keep getting an error saying wrong password so I’m having to change my password every time now it won’t even let me do that

### 1/5 — App is trash, devs don’t care

*2026-01-14, version 5.0.1*

Clearly the devs just don’t look at these at all so I don’t know why I’m bothering but I also experience the same issue everyone else does where login is not saved and forces the password to be reset every time. Guess what happens next? The email doesn’t even have a password reset link! It’s not there! Five attempts in a row to reset it (having to type my full email and username every single time) and not one of the emails actually contained the link. Fix your app.

### 1/5 — Logs me out everytime

*2025-11-19, version 5.0.1*

Logs me out everytime

### 1/5 — Poor

*2025-10-29, version 5.0.1*

Every month cannot use Face ID. When trying to sign in manually there is a UI issue preventing you from seeing boxes to enter credentials. Been like this for over a year.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — So Easy a Caveman Could Use It!!

*2024-05-19, version 4.3.3*

I just paid my bill! It was easy!!! Hurry up and download this app if you use Pacific Power!!!!

### 5/5 — Works For Me

*2022-01-10, version 4.3.0*

I have an existing account on my computer, so maybe that’s why it works so well for me. I like the usage because it shows the hours, and when things like my hot water tank turns on. I’m usually on limited data, 144Mbps, and so it takes up to 30 seconds for a page to load, but I don’t mind. I don’t pay bills online, because I don’t like the security risks.

### 5/5 — Good

*2021-12-31*

I’ve never had any major issues about this app. Always worked well. Occasionally makes you log in (if you use Touch ID) but it’s all good!

### 5/5 — Sweet

*2019-09-22, version 3.1.0*

just payed bill on existing account in 3 mins! 🤘

### 5/5 — Easy!

*2018-04-05*

Makes life easy! As a millennial, i can tell you the app makes payment super easy! It’s convenient, easy to use! I may be a millennial, but I pay my own bills and this app makes it super easy to make the payments on time!

### 4/5 — Power outage

*2018-04-28*

I used this app to report a power outage at my rural home. It was repaired in about an hour and ended up a rodent had chewed the transmitter at the bottom of the driveway. The PPL service guy drove up to the house to check that power was on. They will be back in s week for further rodent incasement. The App worked GREAT and the service was awesome. Thank you PPL!

### 3/5 — Needs Quality of Life Updates

*2023-06-07, version 4.3.1*

The “Pay Now” option blends in to the rest of the screen. It needs to actually look like a button. It just looks like text on the page.

### 3/5 — Payment history please

*2019-02-23, version 3.0.0*

Being able to see pending payments is nice, but what I really need to see is my payment history.

### 3/5 — New meters

*2018-09-10*

Ever since they went to smart meters you can’t see the usage as cost. You used to be able to compare your bills from previous months up to two years.

### 2/5 — Really Needs Updating

*2026-06-19, version 5.0.1*

1. Face ID - PLEASE make the app store my Face ID for more than a week or two. Most of us pay our bill once a month. And every month it tells me that I’ve been logged out and I need to enter my password. And then every month it asks (again) if I want to remember my Face ID and I say yes. Yet every month I’m logged out again.

2. Amount Due - This doesn’t update immediately after making payment, and like others have mentioned it’s very easy to make a double payment because it looks like the first one didn’t apply.

Aside from those two issues, the app is easy to use and has potential. But those same issues have been a problem for *at least* 3-4 years if not longer.
