It doesn’t do this basic function. Pacific Pride should ask the developer for a refund and the marketing dept should put themselves on notice this app is so bad. This app is a joke. Sorry PP maybe someday. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2018-09-12, version 2.5.6* Has a nice logo. Other than that it has nothing to offer. It showed nothing near my location as I was parked in the Fallbrook fill station. As it does anywhere I go. ### 1/5 — They don’t know what they sell !! *2018-08-20, version 2.5.6* ALL boats need ethanol free fuel, period. I know they sell it at some stations (ethanol free premium), but this app does not show it at all. I am trying to find boat fuel where I am going fishing, no such luck. The local jober told me to load this app as they no longer print the books. PP you leave us high and “dry”. Time to buy from some one else I guess ! ### 1/5 — Not good for real time locator *2015-09-02, version 2.2* This app has a poor GPS locator. It needs to find stations within a certain distance from you. City names are meaningless when you travel in an unfamiliar area. Some listed stations do not have Pacific Pride pumps. ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD *2015-08-27, version 2.2* This app blows. "Locate me" will locate you... And it will give you "nearby" fueling stations. The only problem is when you get there, it's a Pac Pride office, or a carwash, or a empty parking lot, or a costco or just nothing at all. In essence this app is no longer functional. Why would you make it so you can only look at 1 location at a time? Nearly pointless for use while traveling. Fix this. ### 1/5 — No overview map of nearby stations *2014-12-18, version 2.0* This last week we've been traveling from Western Oregon to Montana and using the updated app for locating stations. It's bad enough to make you cuss when there's no longer an option to look at an overall view of stations in the area. Without being familiar with the area I'm traveling I have no idea if the closest station is the opposite direction in which I'm traveling. Please please give us a map we can zoom out on so we can see for ourselves where the stations are. When we get back I'm going to my Pacific Pride office to see if there are still station location guide books available. The book is way faster to catch a glance. The other problem is after I have selected the destination of desired station, my navigation map is non existent, all I see is two points of reference and graph paper. For me, the app is only good for getting an address and taking that info to google maps for useful navigation. Big thumbs down👎, the app has been too dumbed down and not even functional for navigation ### 2/5 — Better! Needs map back! *2014-11-23, version 2.0* A lot better with the update! Works great now... But I need the map!!! Need to be able to plan my route and stops for the day! Tested it While I knew one was less than a mile away. Needs fixed. ### 1/5 — Am I doing something wrong? *2024-06-29, version 2.5.7* I received my PP cards and the insert said to download this app. I did (and then deleted and tried again). It simply says no locations near me. So instead of ‘find my location’ I entered Salem, Oregon (I know of at least two stations in Salem), the results came up blank. “0 locations near you.” I’ve tried using filters, I’ve even entered a street address of a known location—“0 results.” This is frustrating and has left me feeling 0 confidence with my 0 results. They never update the locations and many of them are no longer there, or have been sold off to a separate fuel distributor that does not take the PP card. They have no features to report issues. You guys need to update the locations badly, I’ve wasted a lot of fuel ironically going to 15-20 plus locations or more that are no longer there. ### 1/5 — Blank search *2018-12-09, version 2.5.6* It worked for a short time but not with the latest updates apple forced us on. Yes, it has a few bugs but overall it gets me to the location I need. I've never had any "wi-fi issues" as others have explained. While it will not layout a trip route like the website, once you find a vicinity fuel site, it will map the way to the site. When I filter by card lock, knowing that a PP locations exists, it returns no result! If filter by gas type and you put in multiple gas selections, it won’t return a result unless all the criteria is met.....not helpful.
