It was pretty clunky to start with and had an older UI, but maybe Pacifica will start from scratch with something new. The music shows + talent on wpfw were unmatched tho. It is 100% inaccessible for a blind person who might try to use it. They also seems to be no way to get a response. this is why Pacifica is always whining to listen to donations. When I lived in New York, and you could listen to WBAI, the one most common phrase that I heard was to 122793 400 ad nausea him! ### 1/5 — Unresponsive, full of glitches *2022-12-08* I’ve labored my way through using this App now for over a year and it is incredibly frustrating: Suddenly the sound is interrupted, though I haven’t moved position nor has WiFi lapsed; then there is the lag in response when touching the arrow for “play” and/or the double bar for “stop”. This App hasn’t been updated in years and always getting age old texts on the main page is also pretty lame. All in all: you have me relying on the physical radio because this App doesn’t do the job. ### 2/5 — Near unusable while driving *2021-12-01* App stops audio whenever there’s a momentary loss of signal, such as changing from 5G to LTE. It requires multiple prompts to restart audio, sometimes requiring selecting a different station. Volume is not equal across stations, with some very quiet and others very loud.
