It’s very useful and quite literally includes everything anyone ever might need for travel for any purpose in the list. It also allows you to add any quirky thing not included. ### 5/5 — Prima! Ich hätte noch einen Vorschlag, der diese App meiner Meinung nach noch aufwerten würde. Und zwar wäre es hilfreich in dem „Gegenstand bearbeiten“ Dialog ein zusätzliches Feld für Notizen zu haben. Das wäre z.B. bei so Gegenständen wie ein Zelt nützlich. Dort würde ich z.B. weitere Gegenstände auflisten, wie beispielsweise Heringe, Schlaufen, Innenzelt und Aussenzelt usw. Jede Art von Reise lässt sich individuell zusammenstellen, egal ob Wochenendtrip, Jahresurlaub, Ausflug oder für besondere Anlässe. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt hab ich aber doch. Leider lassen sich die einzelnen Gegenstände innerhalb einer Kategorie nicht händisch sortieren. Die sind immer alphabetisch geordnet. Bitte programmiert doch zumindest die Möglichkeit der eigenen Sortierung. Zum Beispiel packe ich „Ausweise“ und „Reisepässe“ im Zusammenhang, und da wäre es praktischer und übersichtlicher, wenn ich innerhalb der Planung diese beiden Punkte untereinander aufführen könnte. This app followed the KISS (Keep It Simple & Straightforward) in its design. The multiple categories cover most everything anyone would need, so an afternoon of customization (adding/deleting items) is really all you need to commit to in order to have “exactly” what you need. I have been using the free version of PackTheBag for about two years and absolutely love it. I thought surely an upgrade would enhance my experience. Was I ever wrong!! This new app is so confusing and so frustrating and very complicated I have recommended pack the bag to several of my friends and I will now tell them not to upgrade. The company should take this app off the app store and refund everyone's money. I think the interface with the upgraded version makes everything seem complicated and very hard to read. This might due to the dull background and small front; I had played around about 5 minutes then I gave up, I don't think I can starring at this app and knowing what I need to pack for a long period of time; the original app is so much more fun and with the much bigger front, it does somehow brings out the fun to plan and pre-organise all your travel needs. I don't know how I would ever remember all my necessities without it. I love being able to reuse packing lists from previous vacations/trips and I just glance through to make sure there's not something new I might need. It makes it so easy to plan a packing list from their suggested items and categories and you can add your own custom items. All you do is check the boxes and you can add quantities if needed, then when you pack your bag you tap to mark completed. I don’t go on trips without using Pack The Bag first.
