I generated an AI list for a trip and can edit the items automatically added, but the interphase for adding new items seems to be faulty? Clicked the plus, typed an item then clicked the plus, typed and item and hit return… no such luck. I wanted to like it, it’s a cool idea. But useless if I can add items.

**Developer response:** Sorry about that — you were right, adding items manually was broken. That bug is fixed in version 1.20.5, which is available now. If you update and still run into any issue, please let us know. Thanks for giving Packerly a try.

Fixed an issue that prevented adding packing items with the keyboard. You can now tap the plus button beside an item field to add it, or tap the plus on an empty field to start typing.

The assistant no longer suggests things already on your list, and the number it mentions now always matches the card it shows you.

Text across the app has been unified to one typeface, so counts, dates and labels read the way the rest of iOS does.

A stability fix.

Opening or closing the Packing Copilot could briefly freeze Packerly — most noticeably on Mac, where the app could stop responding for a few seconds. Packerly now leaves the microphone hardware alone unless you actually tap to talk, so the Copilot opens and closes cleanly every time.

Polish, end to end.

Empty screens across Bags, Weather, the gear picker and the iPad sidebar now match the rest of the app instead of looking half-finished. On Apple Watch, an empty checklist no longer just points you at your iPhone — you can add your first item right from your wrist.

Trip search now suggests the destinations you have already saved, so a repeat search is one tap.

Notifications are clearer. With previews hidden they tell you what kind of reminder arrived — "Document reminder", "Packing update" — instead of a bare "Notification".

The Packing Copilot now says plainly that its answers are AI-generated and worth double-checking, and you can mark a reply as unhelpful, not just helpful.

Bigger under the hood: nearly 500 phrases that were stuck in English are now translated in every language Packerly supports — including onboarding's own buttons, "Delete Trip", and the Pack Mode close button that VoiceOver reads aloud.
