## What is PacketGlide?

PacketGlide is a one-thumb arcade flight through a data center that keeps changing under you. Tap to boost, let go to fall, and thread a circuit board between the racks. That is the whole control scheme. Everything else is timing.

FIVE ZONES, FIVE WAYS TO GO DOWN
The Edge Racks teach you the tap. Then the room changes: scanner beams patrol the gaps in the Core Switch, cold air drags you down on the Cooling Deck, firewall ports lock open on one side as you close in, and fibre trunks funnel the corridor in the Backbone. Every hazard is beatable by height alone. Whether you are at the right height is on you.

DOCK IN, POWER UP
Sockets pay 25 and open the route ahead, and every one of them rolls a power-up: Surge doubles your points, Open widens the next three gates, Clear drops every obstacle for three seconds, Shield eats one hit.

KEEP THE CHAIN ALIVE
Every Bit and every dock pushes your multiplier up to x4. Skip one and it resets. Skim a rack edge for close-call points, if you dare.

THE BACKBONE HITS DIFFERENT
The last zone is faster and louder, and its bass rises with your chain.

SOMETHING TO COME BACK FOR
- Three difficulties that ramp in their own way; Hard is relentless.
- Light, Heavy and Fragile payloads that change how the board flies and what it pays.
- A daily circuit that is the same course for everyone, with your best attempt flying beside you as a ghost.
- Three delivery contracts a day, paid in bandwidth that unlocks board finishes.
- Game Center leaderboards for every mode and for the daily.
- The end screen tells you exactly how close you were: one gate from the Backbone, one Bit from x4, sixty bandwidth from the next finish.

No ads. No timers. No energy. Just the racks.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.0 — 2026-10-25

Six zones now.

NEW • The Uplink: a new zone in front of the Backbone. Plain racks at double speed, spaced out so you can still make the gaps. • New zone order: the Cooling Deck and the Firewall Perimeter come before the Core Switch.

RETUNED • Every tier plays under new rules, with tighter gaps and more hazards as the zones go on. • The leaderboards start fresh for this version. Your old bests are kept and shown as previous bests.

ALSO • How to Play is eight pages, with a diagram on each. • Settings has a Send feedback form. It opens Mail with your note. • After a new best, the game may ask you for a rating.

Nothing has changed about the controls. One tap, and everything else is timing.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-25

Leaderboards are now live!

### 1.1.0 — 2026-09-17

Game Center problems now tell you what actually happened. Earlier versions reported every failure as Offline, including requests that Apple refused for some other reason, and the app kept retrying in the background. This build shows the real reason on the Boards screen so a refused score can be retried instead of failing quietly.
