PackingEasy is the simple packing-list app for weekend getaways, holidays, business travel, and everything in between. Start a new list, combine ready-made templates, and tick items off until the suitcase is ready.

IMPROVED PACKING-LIST MANAGEMENT

• Change or remove the name, start date, and end date of an existing packing list at any time.
• Date selection when creating a new packing list now works reliably again on iPhone and iPad.
• Packing lists on iPad now support the same native swipe-to-delete gesture as iPhone, while the context menu remains available.
• Deleted packing lists that were already synced are no longer restored from stale protection data after reinstalling the app.
• Additional improvements to iCloud Sync, layout, accessibility, and stability.

PACKINGEASY 2.0: EVERY CORE FEATURE IS FREE

• Packing lists, templates, the template catalog, CSV backup, and every other app feature are free to use.
• iCloud Sync is now an optional one-time unlock – no subscription.
• Anyone who already used PackingEasy 1.3 or earlier keeps iCloud Sync at no cost.
• Purchases can be restored directly from Settings.
• Local data remains available when iCloud Sync is unlocked later.

Version 2.0 also improves purchase verification, sync status, accessibility, and stability.

Custom symbols for your packing lists
• Give every packing list a fitting symbol — suitcase, plane, bicycle, tent and more. Pick it when creating a list, change it anytime via the context menu, see it at a glance in the overview.

Faster adding
• Quick-add now has a category chip: new items land in the right category immediately, and the selection sticks for entering several items in a row.
• Change an item's category — right from a swipe gesture or the context menu.

Stability & polish
• More robust when iCloud sync runs on several devices at once.
• Far less sync traffic while renaming template items.
• "Save as template" now keeps the packing list's symbol.
• Minor fixes around travel dates and symbol display.

### 1.2 — 2026-06-28

iCloud sync fixed
• Packing lists and templates now sync reliably across iPhone, iPad and Mac again. Changes on one device appear automatically on the others.
• A new iCloud account status row in Settings clearly shows whether sync is ready.
• Improved stability and reliability of background sync.

If you were missing iCloud sync before, this update fixes it. Just update on all your devices.
