### 5/5 — Awesome cards

*2026-08-20*

I like the connectivity to have discounted cards

**Developer response:** Thank you, Markwonder3! Great to hear you're enjoying the collection side — more improvements on the way. If you ever have a suggestion, Settings → Support reaches us directly.

### 3/5 — Pity system

*2026-07-29*

I have the crystal pity yet i’ve opened every pack and i have not gotten one

**Developer response:** You were right — this wasn't bad luck. A classification bug meant no pack could actually contain a Crystal card, so the "next pack guaranteed" message was impossible to fulfil. Fixed in 1.2.3, now with Apple for review: Crystal cards are classified correctly, the guarantee only counts up in sets that can actually produce that rarity, and stuck counters clear on your next pack. Note that Crystal cards only exist in a couple of the vintage sets — that's where the guarantee pays out. Sorry for the wasted packs, and thanks for reporting it.

### 3/5 — What are these new packs they are not even Pokemon

*2026-07-08*

So basically I was updating it then when I went in there was no Pokémon only packs called a pack called Olympus if you have Pokémon still bring back pls

**Developer response:** Sorry about that — what you ran into is a content-loading bug, not a change to the game.

PackRip loads its set list from our server on launch. If that request fails, the app falls back to the small bundled set (Olympus) and stays stuck there for the whole session, so your library looks like it vanished.

1.2.4 fixes it: the app now remembers the last set list that loaded successfully, so a dropped connection can't strand you on the fallback anymore. Update once it's out and everything should be back where you left it — nothing was deleted, your collection is safe on our servers.

### 1/5 — I’m confused

*2026-06-30*

Don’t understand the purpose is it just a digital platform that you can earn the real currency off of?

**Developer response:** Thanks for asking! PackRip is a card pack opening simulator for entertainment and collecting. You cannot earn, withdraw, or cash out real money in the app. Coins and cards are virtual only and are used for opening simulated packs, building your collection, and progressing in-game.

### 3/5 — THIS GAME CHANGES A LOT

*2026-06-18*

When you play the game on the website in a browser, it is so much better. There are soo many more features that make the game fun to play. Downloading the game not only doesn’t let you manually swipe to open packs and go through each card 1 by 1, but it also gets rid of leaderboards, daily packs, it shows ads even though it said it wouldn’t, and its pay 2 win. It’s fun but if it was like the browser version where it says .co, it would be 5 stars easily

**Developer response:** Thanks for taking the time to write this — detailed feedback like yours is exactly what helps us improve. Good news: most of what you're missing is actually already in the app, and a few things may be from an older build, so please update to the latest version (1.1.6).

  - Card-by-card reveal is built in — tap or swipe to open each card one at a time.
  - Daily packs and the leaderboard are both live; the Daily Challenge on the home screen gives you a daily pack and a leaderboard to climb.
  - There are zero third-party ads in the app — we don't run any ad network at all. What you ran into is an optional Plus subscription offer, not an ad, and if it's showing too often that's on us to tune, so we're dialing the frequency down.
  - Every card, pantheon, and pull is earnable for free. Plus just speeds things up and hides that offer screen — no card is ever locked behind payment.

### 4/5 — Game bug

*2026-04-26*

I have opened and collected all cards with the exception of Noctis (I just haven’t unlocked it) but you can bypass the 3 pack a day by ignoring the buy option and spamming open pack

**Developer response:** Hey, thanks for the catch and the 4 stars!
We looked into this — the daily pack limit is actually enforced both on the home screen and inside the pack-opening flow, so "Open Another" should hit a "Daily Pack Limit Reached" screen once you're out of free packs.
If you're still able to bypass it on the latest version, please email us at elhanarinc@gmail.com with your iOS version and a quick description of the steps — we'd love to reproduce and fix it. Good luck unlocking Noctis!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.9 — 2026-09-11

A fix-it release, aimed squarely at the things that were wasting your time.

• Earned a pack? It's yours immediately. Watching a bonus video used to show a "free pack ready" message while your pack count stubbornly sat at zero — the pack was real and waiting on the server, the app just wasn't asking for it. It now arrives the moment the video ends.
• Packs no longer open by themselves. A timing bug could roll extra packs you never tapped for, and those phantom opens spent your daily free packs — so you'd hit "daily limit reached" long before you actually should have. Fixed at the source.
• Out of packs? There's now a way out that doesn't cost anything. The daily-limit screen offers an optional bonus video before it offers the shop, and it takes you straight into the pack instead of dropping you back on the wall you just came from.
• Screens stay put. The ad slot used to collapse and spring back open while it was loading, shoving everything underneath it up and down for over a minute. It now holds its place.
• Honest purchase errors. If a purchase can't be completed, the app tells you and points you at Restore Purchases, instead of leaving a button that quietly does nothing.

As always: every pull rate is disclosed before you open, and PackRip Plus still removes the ads that interrupt you.

### 1.2.8 — 2026-09-07

A correctness release. Less new, more right.

• Your rarest cards finally shine. Ultra Rare, Rainbow Rare, Double Rare, V, VMAX, VSTAR, GX, Lv.X, Prime, LEGEND, BREAK and the Illustration Rares were rendering completely flat — over 2,700 cards that were the best pulls in the game and the dullest ones on screen. They now get the holo treatment their tier deserves.
• Bonus rewards now credit properly. If you earn an extra pack, it lands on your account instead of going nowhere.
• Seal perks show what they actually do. The discounts and streak bonuses listed on each Seal are now read from the live game economy, so the number you read is the number you get.
• Your daily streak Seal can never pay you less than not having it.
• Banners on Home, Collection and Stats no longer disappear for the rest of a session after a single failed load.
• A weak connection no longer strands you on offline defaults for the rest of the session, and settings changes now reach the app without a full restart.
• A pile of quieter fixes to how the app reads its live configuration.

Nothing about your collection, coins, streak or PackRip Plus changes in this update.

Thanks for playing PackRip. Keep ripping.

### 1.2.7 — 2026-09-05

Performance and stability improvements throughout the app.

• Faster, steadier pack opening and reveal
• More reliable daily free packs and rewards
• Collection and set browsing improvements
• Various bug fixes and under-the-hood polish

Thanks for playing PackRip. Keep ripping.

### 1.2.6 — 2026-09-01

Reliability and measurement release.

• Fixed a counting bug where packs purchased from the shop were not recorded against the pack you started, so your session stats could under-report.
• Purchase flows now report their outcome accurately. Cancelling a purchase is treated as a cancellation, not an error.
• Improved first-run measurement so we can see where new collectors get stuck and make the opening experience clearer. This is aggregate only — no new information about you is collected, and nothing is tied to your identity.
• General stability and performance improvements.

### 1.2.5 — 2026-08-19

This is a privacy and reliability update.

• Third-party analytics removed. PackRip no longer bundles or contacts any
external analytics service. The "Share Anonymous Analytics" setting is gone
because there is nothing left to opt out of.
• The app reports only anonymous aggregate counts to our own backend — for
example "a pack failed to open" — with no user identifier, no card data and no
free text.
• Better server-side error diagnostics, so pack-loading problems get found and
fixed faster.
• Groundwork for future collection guidance.

No changes to pull rates, odds disclosure, prices, packs, or the economy.
