Waist of space and time ### 1/5 — Scam *2015-03-25* Tried app for a few months and went to cancel but keep getting errors. Contacted support but nobody responded. Will be contacting my credit card company and Apple **Developer response:** I'm sorry to hear you had such a bad experience and apologize that it's taken over 2 years to get a response from us. Apple only recently added the option for developers to reply to review comments. I don't know why you didn't get a response after contacting us but it's possible that the issues you experienced were due to problems we were having with our email server in early 2015. We pride ourselves in having fast and helpful support so this is especially painful to hear. I'm assuming you eventually reached PackTrack support but if not then please visit packtrackapp.com, click on the Contact Us link and explain what happened so we can make things right. If you're interested in giving us another chance we'd be happy to give you a 30 day free trial. ### 1/5 — Dog Handler *2015-03-05* Signed up to try it out. Sent several emails to try to stop my subscription. The company won't respond and I continue to get charged. Had to conceal my credit card to stop it. **Developer response:** I'd like to apologize for what happened. I recognize it's been over two years since you made this comment but Apple only recently gave us the option to respond to review comments. It's odd that you didn't get a response after contacting us but it's possible that the issues you experienced were due to problems we were having with our email server in early 2015. You need a login so I contacted the company. They never replied. Now I find I'm charged another month's fee, still no login info. BEWARE - I believe this is a scam. **Developer response:** I'm really sorry you had such a bad experience and that it's taken this long for us to respond. Apple only just added the ability for us to respond to user reviews in early 2017. It sounds like the PackTrack signup email with login instructions didn't reach you. I don't know why you didn't get a response after contacting us but it's possible that the issues you experienced were due to problems we were having with our email server in early 2015. Easy to enter deployments but not training. Still trying to work through the issues. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback. It's taken a while for us to respond as Apple only recently included the option for developers to reply to reviews in the App Store. I hope you were able to work through the issues you were having. We've made a number of improvements to PackTrack since you wrote this review including making it easier to enter training records on the main web site. The App Store only very recently added the option for us to reply to your review. This app compliments the PackTrack online service which requires a monthly subscription. Can't rate what you can't use. **Developer response:** Apologies for the obviously delayed response. Apple didn't provide the ability to respond to user reviews until early 2017. We try to make it clear in the App Store description that this app requires a login and subscription to the PackTrack online service. Since your review we've also improved the app to make it clear that you must signup for PackTrack online first. Needs some work. *2016-05-11* Like the concept of sharing data entry for search setup with other handlers in the group. Like drop down menus and auto fill of various blocks. Don't like that the ap crashes is you didn't fill in a required block. Don't like that the ap can't seem to find me in rural areas when I enter a new event. Wish the weather would auto fill. **Developer response:** Your feedback is appreciated. I used to not document them all because it took longer to write the deployment in my old system than it did to actually deploy, so I’d skip over a lot of non productive deployments. **Developer response:** Thanks for the encouraging comments! It tracks all of the essential information that we use on a daily basis. The ease of use is outstanding!! The customer service and correspondence is also bar none! I have several agencies that are also going to be downloading this app as I have recommended it to everyone I know that is in K-9!!! Phenomenal!!!! **Developer response:** Thanks for your kind words! Other than that everything works great and makes records keeping a breeze! ### 4/5 — Needs a couple things *2016-05-20* Needs to have the ability to add another dog. I have two and was only able to add 1. Also when I try to add a training event the app crashes on me or says server problems **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. PackTrack supports multiple dogs per handler but they must first be added on the main web site. We've made a number of recent improvements to the app including stability improvements. The support and follow up from the Packtrack team is quick and they are always pleased to receive feedback and make improvements. Yes its had some glitches but at least they at trying to make it work. I sent an email regarding IE 7 seems to be working now.
