## What is Pact Lock?

A written promise beats a fleeting decision.

Pact Lock is a screen-time app where you start a lock by signing a pact with yourself. It unlocks automatically once your set time passes, but if you can't wait, the only option is to "break the pact." Every break is recorded — there's no undoing it.

1. Register one pact (e.g. "No social media today")
2. Choose the apps to lock and a duration (1–24 hours)
3. Sign the pact to start the lock
4. It unlocks automatically when time's up — breaking early is tracked and counted
