Padam Bot is your conversational Tamil cinema companion. Just chat in Tamil (type or speak) and get personalised movie recommendations from a catalogue of thousands of Tamil films — by mood, genre, hero, director, or era.

Ask combined questions, get exact answers. "A Suriya film directed by Mani Ratnam" or "a movie with both Vikram and Suriya" now returns precisely that — powered by a new on-device knowledge graph of 11,000+ actors and directors. Works in Tamil or English, any spelling, even offline.
Voice search is 3× faster. Speak, and results appear in a couple of seconds.
Natural Tamil narration. The assistant now pronounces actor and director names correctly in Tamil — no more garbled English names.
Smarter suggestions. After every search, the suggestion chips instantly become refinements of what you just asked — drill down from "comedy" to "Vijay Sethupathi comedy" in one tap.
A cleaner, verified movie catalogue. Every playable movie link has been checked in three ways — including AI review of the actual video — so you get the real film, not reviews, reactions, or fakes. Titles without a genuine full movie now say so honestly.
Plus: a friendly welcome screen, snappier previews, and many fixes.

Much smarter search — combined questions now work: ask for "a Suriya film directed by Mani Ratnam" or "a film starring both Vikram and Suriya" and get exactly that, not just one star's filmography.
Understands how you actually speak — different spellings of names (மணிரத்னம் / மணிரத்தினம்), spoken forms like "விக்ரமும் சூர்யாவும்", and casual phrasing all resolve to the right people.
The right person, every time — names that look alike (Karthi vs Karthik, Vijay vs Vijay Antony) are no longer mixed up.
Honest answers — if the app isn't sure locally, it asks our server for the accurate answer instead of guessing; if there's truly no match, it says so.

Accurate movie playback — we verified and cleaned the entire catalogue, removing thousands of wrong, dubbed, or low-quality videos. When a movie plays, it's now the correct Tamil full film.
Honest availability — movies without a real full-length version now clearly say "content not available" instead of playing the wrong video or dropping you into a search.
New welcome screen — a friendly greeting with example searches to help you get started.
Smoother previews — faster, more reliable movie preview cards (no more hanging).
