Great, except when I go to find one (there are 6 in a nearby city) the map doesn’t update and says there are zero dive shops in the area no matter how many times I update the map! So I paid for a course, but cannot access it-thanks PADI! ### 2/5 — Do NOT book through the app *2022-06-04, version 2.0.6* It’s okay for finding dive shops, but directly contact the shop to book services. Reservations made in the app can be missing information and are harder to reschedule or refund (maybe impossible) than if you simply deal directly with the shop. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work *2021-11-20, version 1.0.84* I just downloaded this app and it doesn’t work. It doesn’t find my PADI certified dive shop, when I select the log and card it takes me back to the App Store to download the app again. I have it a two because the concept is great. ### 3/5 — Sweepstakes Popup Confusion *2020-10-20, version 1.0.71* Every time I open the app, it prompts me to enter the sweepstakes even if it hasn’t been a week. I hope it will connect divers to there local dive centers. At the moment, I signed up, and tried to connect my favorite dive store Kids Sea Camp, but it did not show up. I then tried Columbia Scuba and nothing. I listed every dive shop in my state South Carolina but no scuba shops could be connected. I then tried the search near me, but that did not show any dive shops in my area. This app will be fantastic if it helps drive customers and joins communities of divers together with local shops. I’ll keep trying. No matter what location or dates you select upon startup, nothing changes. It remains on default startup settings. I selected “Central America” and it remains on “locations near me”. I select dates for December 2024, but the search remains for tomorrow. Total waste of time! ### 1/5 — Does not save *2023-05-06, version 2.1.4* During sign up, you’ll waste 5 minutes filling everything up, press save. Then nothing happens. No support for PADI independent instructors who offer all these services, daily. Great Groupon feel to it, but I suppose there is no other way to do it. Asked it for shop references and it took me to the PADI website to map shops. Why use the app? ### 1/5 — So little coverage *2020-09-28, version 1.0.66* The app may be useful for some people trying to explore and book scuba travel, but for anyone trying to book in continental North America it has zero coverage - eg Canada and Mexico are non existent and the US is only Hawaii.
