### 5/5 — 2024 noch sicher?

*2024-10-18*

I'm not sure whether this is still being maintained.

### 1/5 — This App became a nightmare

*2024-09-19*

I use Padlock since 2016. After 6 tears of very satisfactory use, this app became to be less friendly user (2022) and then a real nightmare since a few month. 🤬
Very difficult (quiet impossible) to access the data as there is a very very low connection, and then the app bugs after a few seconds, that let you about 20 seconds to reach your information and copy/paste. ! Most of time I have to redo and wit again and again! I loose so much time trying and trying again to reach info before the App bug again!!! Same on PC and mobile. Soooo désappointed.
I need to find another one and migrate all my datas. 😭

### 5/5 — Extremely Good, But Not Perfect

*2024-08-26, version 4.1.0*

I have used Pacloc as a password manager for quite a few years now, and it is very very good, though it has some annoying flaws. Overall the app is intuitive, and basic password management is smooth and easy. However, this app is also very powerful. It supports folder, tags, and other ways to organize yourself. CSV exports allows me to save all my passwords in a secure local location, for my family to access if a need arises. I do like that is does important and exporting, I love software that tries to be as open as psosible instead of trying to marry you to it forever.

Version history for passwords is a fantastic addition, and solves the biggest issue I ran into using it, which was me generating a new password, saving it, and then having the password change process fail somewhere along the line (due to no fault of this app)– after my randomly-generated password had been overwritten and was lost forever.

I find the open-source nature and European provenance of this product trustworthy. The $35/year subscription fee is reasonable, and the cloud password manager works really flawlessly. It works with 2FA keys. In short, this does absolutely everything you could want it to.

It is not perfect. There are minor but persistant bugs in the Mac desktop application. The app interferes with the spacebar shortcut key in Adobe applications intermittently. Sometimes it takes two clicks to copy data, even though "focus" is on the app. These are very minor annoyances, but worth noting.

Overall, I really like this app and do reccomend it. Having a password manager is essential and this is an extremely good one.

### 2/5 — No stability on mobile 🫤

*2024-07-20*

This application is very practical on PC, but sooo laborious on mobile. The characters are small and sometimes difficult to read. The display require many clics to view passwords and copy/paste them. And finally, stability on mobile has been getting worse and worse over the past year. The app opens and closes 4 times out of 5! 🤬

### 3/5 — No swipe?

*2024-06-29, version 4.1.0*

Needs swipe to go back. Please fix and I will update.

### 3/5 — No iOS AutoFill

*2022-12-26, version 4.1.0*

Decent app.

Pros:
 - Simple interface
 - Open source & security white paper

Cons:
 - A bit glitchy on iOS and web
 - NO iOS AUTOFILL <- this is a dealbreaker for me

### 3/5 — not optimized for 12.9 ipad

*2022-08-12, version 4.0.0*

its ok, but the screen is small. and needs autofill / safari extension.

also, the vault doesn't lock automatically after 1 minute.

i think there should be an option for instant lock after app close? and or require to state how many minutes or the behavior to initiate password instead of Touch ID?

### 5/5 — They fixed my billing issue

*2022-01-19, version 3.1.3*

I’m redoing my review. They fixed my issue within 24 hours and program does everything it says it going to do
To be trusted
Thank you
Bill m

### 2/5 — Force quit.

*2021-09-16, version 3.1.3*

Crashes when you go to add item > my vault to select vault. It gets stuck and you have to force quit

### 2/5 — Mystery pricing.

*2021-08-07, version 3.1.3*

I don’t get why these apps have a mystery around pricing!?!
The free version allows 50 entries.
Then is $3/month subscription.
Yup, it’s expensive.
And why do I have to install and register to find this fact. Really lame.
