Searching by pet friendly is not effective. If there could be repercussions for listing pets allowed falsely, or to allow home-searchers the ability to provide feed back on certain details like that. Lastly, the ability to hide listing, if I know it’s a scam, why does reporting it not remove it from MY map permanently. It does map pads effectively but I hope for more “nice to have” features. ### 2/5 — Impossible to signup *2026-04-23, version 2.5.52* Their signup process is busted. I was able to create an account but when I clicked on the validate email I got an error and now my account is rejected. Now regular people can’t post their “pads.” They will delete your account, mark your posting as “malicious” and when they email them, they give you a form response that tells you that you somehow violated their terms of service, but not HOW you violated their “terms.” This app is nothing more than a scam now, what a shame. ### 1/5 — Just be careful *2024-09-05, version 2.5.36* This company should be flag for misuse of the private policy. The company doesn’t follow their own policy . I posted as a landlord of my property through a company I owned . It was deemed as a misuse of the policy , when it clearly states third parties and landlords is permitted. I think there looking for properties to scam. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2024-08-09, version 2.5.36* I remember when I was in desperate need of a place & this app didn’t help at all.. very confusing & the emails you get are spam. ### 3/5 — Post never worked and no customer support *2024-07-17, version 2.5.36* I tried to post an apartment for rent and it is now 2 days later and it’s still not listed and no one has returned my customer support request. They forced me to provide government issued ID in order to post a listing and now they haven’t followed through on their end of the deal. This feels very scammy. I definitely have privacy concerns now. Edit: I did eventually receive customer support and my apartment was listed. I’ve had several interested people reach out with interest so I’ve changed my review to 3 stars since it is helping me to find prospective tenants. However, it’s still not great and the other places I’ve listed it are far better. The PadMapper app is clunky to use. There’s no info about my post’s visibility, how many people are seeing it etc. There is no way to view or respond to people’s messages on it. I get their messages to my email but when I respond, many people are not seeing the responses. There should definitely be a way to go into the app and see/respond to messages. ### 1/5 — Waste of time and effort *2024-04-05, version 2.5.36* Signed up, verified my identity, and wrote a listing complete with pictures only to be locked out of my account for no reason or notification whatsoever. I have clicked the verification email sent to me and o keep getting an error message. I reached out to support and thru the feedback option with no success. Unfortunately, there has been a trend where online rental services just assume everything is fraud and make it a nightmare to list your property for rent. PadMapper is no exception to this trend. They will simply block your legitimate listing, deactivate your account, and provide no straightforward means to fix the situation. However, what really impressed me about PadMapper is its ability to send the same message to multiple property agents at once. You can easily scroll the map to other city’s and or even states and you don’t have to change anything. I’ve literally viewed from Michigan to Texas and didn’t change anything. The only thing I haven’t figured out yet is it I can type in on a body of water and have all places pop up weather it be on a river or a lake or a pool. There are some things I’m still looking at.
