God Bless You. ### 1/5 — computer voice *2024-12-08* Disappointed to find it was a computer voice not a person very mechanical and unnatural…..Update I followed the developers advice and downloaded different voices, they are still stilted computer voices they are not human. If it had a human speaking it would be lovely but that computer voice ruins it for me . I appreciate the work you’ve put in but Please record a real human, sorry I cannot use this app . **Developer response:** There are several voice options in the settings tab. You can choose between several available voices according to your preferences. Make sure to download the enhanced voices as they sound much better. A very nice app but the problem is the font can not read and no means to enlarge in the settings. The pronunciation of Jesus as Jess us is terrible. I had to get rid of the app for that alone. ### 1/5 — Use the free version! *2020-09-02* I paid for the upgraded version and it does not offer much more than a terrible robotic voice reading the prayers. I was hoping the upgrade would allow me to see the progress of the novena much like a rosary. It doesn’t. Plus the app is a vertical orientation, so I must rotate my 12.9” iPad vertically to view the app which is not really designed for an iPad, as the images are very small and don’t fulfill the screen. I love the novena but regret upgrading. **Developer response:** You can download the enhanced voice and change the voice of the narrator in Settings. You can also modulate the speed of the voice. Once it crashes, your place is lost and there’s no way to advance - so the prayer starts again. The chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. My son is four years free of cancer. I still pray to Padre Pio for my family’s health.
