### 5/5 — Top Class Application

*2010-05-13*

A great combination of content within a single application.
I liked how the text was supported with pictures, video and audio presentations, there where links to related material on the internet (the internal browse was great idea ... I did not have to leave the application to view the external link).
The calculators will be useful and are easy to use.

Overall a top class application ... worth the money

### 5/5 — Excellent Product

An excellent product that works well without any problems. There are not enough good medical applications for healthcare providers available (particularly for paediatrics). Well done and keep the apps comming!

### 5/5 — 5 stars

Great app! Works as described.

### 5/5 — Outstanding

*2010-05-10, version 0*

This is the best medical application I have found to date in the iTunes store. It offers practical, straight to the point advice on dealing with the common postnatal issues encountered as a doctor. This source will enable me to access information more quickly rather than spending a large amount of time searching for answers in a textbook.

The gestational age calculator will be particularly useful when plotting the corrected gestational age on a growth chart in neonatal clinics (especially in preterm babies).

It is a nice feature the way the external weblinks open within the application so that when you are finished viewing them you don't lose your place in the application. I particularly like the way almost every topic has a link to the photo gallery allowing me to look at the conditions I haven't seen before.

### 5/5 — Top quality application

*2010-05-09*

This is a well thought out and useful application. The topics in the ebook are comprehensive and I particularly like the links to the photo galley and other internationally recognised guidelines. The video demonstration of how to do a baby check is great and I have picked up some useful tips. While all the calculators come in handy, the phototherapy calculator is particularly good and makes following the AAP guidelines easy.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Poor customer support

*2012-06-06*

I liked this app when I originally downloaded it 18 months ago. Unfortunately, when I updated to a new version, it would no longer work on my iTouch. I deleted and re-downloaded the app three times, but it still didn't work. I then emailed the developers to help me fix the problem. They never responded to my query.

### 3/5 — Great resource but calculators not working

*2015-09-02, version 1.6*

It looks like a fantastic resource but when I try to run the calculators the app freezes. Please fix!!

### 3/5 — My thoughts

*2010-08-20*

The calculators are easy to use. I use iOS 3.1.2 and 2nd 8 GB iPod Touch. The app crashed down while I choose eBook, Video and Audio. The function of search and read is OK.

### 4/5 — Very useful app with good content.

*2010-08-20*

I really like this app because of it comprehensive coverage of the newborn. It contains many references and web links, both of which extend it's usefulness. While the user interface is very good and easy to navigate. However, I would prefer a more aesthetic and creative user experience. But it's really about the content, right. Great job, guys.

### 4/5 — Great once it gets some fine tuning

*2010-05-19*

This App has a lot of useful content and is easy to use. The bilirubin/phototherapy tool is well-designed but needs to add the ability to enter bilirubin in mg/dL for all of us docs in the USA. In its current form it's unusable unless you do the conversion yourself. The newborn check video could be improved by replacing the live soundtrack with a narrated one: between the baby screaming and the doctor's accent, it was hardfor me to follow. I would also like to see the inclusion of more images and the ability to pinch/zoom them to see them larger. Overall a great 1st edition and a valuable addition to my iPhone.

### 5/5 — Concise and easy to use

*2011-10-22, version 1.2*

Excellent app particularly for junior doctors on neonatal ward and also for gps in practice- would highly recommend to colleagues.

### 5/5 — Great ap!

4th year med student - found this ap very useful on the ward and quick and easy to refer to. Definitely recommended

### 5/5 — Superb

*2011-03-26, version 1.2*

I'm a ST1 doing neonates for the first time and this has been a great tool for me on the postnatal wards. Wholeheartedly recommend.

### 5/5 — Jp st1

*2011-01-13, version 1.2*

Very useful app. It is clear, concise and incredibly helpful on the postnatal ward. Not only does it help with management of problems on the ward, but also with explanations to parents and midwives 5/5

### 5/5 — Great app. I use it all the time.

*2010-11-27, version 0*

I'm a Paeds ST1 and find I use this app loads when working on the neonate side. Many useful features. A few extra things I'd like to see are:
Tube size calculator - ET tubes size and length based on gestation and also UVC and UAC calculators.
It would also be good have the ability to alter the feeding requirements calculator based on local guidelines (we use 60ml/kg/d then 90ml/kg/d for example).

### 5/5 — Practical guide to managing paeds

*2010-11-08, version 0*

As a medical student i found this app extremely useful. I used the ebook section it like an OHCM for many of the common clinical conditions and the audio and video lectures were great when travelling to and from placements to get in a sneaky bit of learning.

This is definitely one of my most useful reference and studying tools.

### 5/5 — Great app
