This application allows you to discover aspects of the Paestum and Velia's daily life through a geolocalized narration made by stories, sounds and smells that allow to live different historical moments in which the city has been a protagonist.

A journey into the past to understand our present.

The application is free to download, it allows to customise the route (by duration and theme) and is available in 6 languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Chinese).

Wish there was a free app like this for every site. Great English explanations. Not too long. GPS enabled. Make sure to select all points of interest before you start the tour.

Buona app, con immagini e audio con spiegazione delle principali attrazioni dell’arco archeologico di Paestum. Per alcuni punti di interesse ho notato che mancavano i segnaposto e le info su app. Inoltre, per qualche punto c’era il segnaposto ma mancava il contributo audio. Si può migliorare e integrare insomma :)

L’idée est bonne mais pas poussée assez loin, l’appli bugue, la géolocalisation est différente des lieux visités. Il manque des traductions (au moins en français)

Ovviamente non si tratta di un app perfetta, ma mi sento comunque di valorizzarla con un punteggio massimo. Si vede che è fatta da un team che ama il sito archeologico e per questo il suo scopo di guida smart lo assolve alla perfezione. Mancano quelle rifiniture e abbellimenti che rendono un app più accattivante, ma ricordiamoci che parliamo di un app che va installata all’ingresso e disinstallata a fine percorso. Assolutamente un valore aggiunto gradevolissimo ad un esperienza turistica di grande spessore.

Bellissima idea quella di creare un’app che aiuti le persone interessate ad usufruire di moltissime informazioni su ciò che sta osservando in maniera totalmente gratuita. Grazie a quest’ultima è possibile godere di una visita molto più appagante di quella che si potrebbe fare con le sole reminiscenze scolastiche.

I punti che vorrei segnalare per rendere perfetta l’applicazione sono:
1) come già segnalato da un altro utente, togliere la mappa satellitare e utilizzare una mappa “stilizzata” del sito (solitamente le piantine cartacee dei siti sono così).
2) migliorare la geolocalizzazione, se la si fissa sulla persona che si sposta non si può zoommare e questo rende difficoltoso orientarsi e/o cercare altri punti; la geolocalizzazione, quando non puntata sulla persona, si resetta ogni volta che si torna alla cartina.
3) rendere il percorso più fluido nella numerazione, non ha senso fare degli avanti e indietro rincorrendo i numeri dei punti, che se all’inizio sono in sequenza, verso metà percorso sono sparsi qua e là per il parco.
4) integrare nell’applicazione i siti di Velia e del Museo, non è possibile avere un unico biglietto, quindi concettualmente un unico “viaggio culturale”, ma gestito in modo diverso, Velia con guida, Paestum con app e museo con nulla, bisognerebbe uniformare il tutto.
5) questo è un punto che sarebbe da integrare nell’app, ma non dipende da quest’ultima purtroppo, bisognerebbe segnalare sulla cartina fontanelle per l’acqua, il punto ristoro e i bagni. Purtroppo la nota dolente del parco di Paestum è che non è presente né un bar, né delle macchinette, né tantomeno delle fontanelle e questa è una cosa veramente assurda, non capisco come chi ha in mano la gestione del parco non arrivi a pensare che una persona ad agosto con 45 gradi non possa avere neanche un sorso d’acqua.

App estremamente utile per chi non vuole o non può organizzarsi con una guida o non vuole comprare un libricino. Piccoli audio che non rendono pesante la visita (ovviamente non sono approfonditissimi, ma aiutano a capire cosa si sta vedendo a somme linee).
Geniale la geolocalizzazione che aiuta tantissimo nella visita. 
Consiglierei di risolvere il problema della memorizzazione dell’ultimo zoom (per chi non è abilissimo a usare il telefono può essere un problema), e ovviamente più indicazioni sarebbero utili (anche solo inserire un pallino senza audio, in maniera tale che velocemente un utente può trovare un luogo che più gli interessa).
Davvero quest’app ha rivoluzionato la mia vista!
