## What is Pagehaus PDF Scanner?

Pagehaus turns paper into PDFs you can find again. Hold your iPhone over a letter, a contract or a receipt: the app finds the edges, straightens the page and reads the printed text, all on the iPhone. There is no account and no advertising, and your documents are not uploaded anywhere.

How a scan goes

1. Tap Scan and hold the iPhone over the page. The picture is taken when the page lies still and is sharp, or when you press the shutter.
2. Look the pages over. Put them in order, turn one, take one out, and choose a look: document, black and white, grayscale, color boost, whiteboard, or the photo as it is. The corners can be set by hand.
3. Save. The document takes a title from its first page and goes into your library, where search reads the titles and the text on the pages.
4. Send it out as a PDF, JPG, PNG or plain text. Share it, save it to Files or print it. Exports never carry a watermark.

What else is in it

There are modes for documents, receipts, books and whiteboards, and a book spread becomes two pages. Photos, pictures and PDF files can be brought in and become pages too. Folders, tags and stars keep the library in order, and a deleted document waits 30 days before it is gone. You can sign a page with your finger, add initials, the date or a line of text, highlight and draw. App Lock with Face ID keeps the library closed to others. The whole library can be exported as a ZIP of PDFs at any time.

A signature added with Pagehaus is a picture of your signature on the page, not a qualified electronic signature.

What stays on your iPhone

Your documents are stored on your iPhone, protected by iOS data protection, and they are part of your iPhone's own backup. Text is recognized on the device. The only thing checked online is a purchase.

What costs nothing, and what Pro adds

Scanning, the looks, exporting, signing, the library and search have no limit and need no purchase. Ten pages of searchable text a month are included: searchable PDF pages, and copying or sharing recognized text.

Pagehaus Pro adds searchable text without the monthly count; seller, date and total read off receipts; an ID mode that puts the front and back of a card on one sheet; redaction that is burned into the exported file and takes the words under it out of the text; merging documents and PDF files and taking pages out; smaller or finer files; and brightness, contrast and sharpness set by hand.

Pro is a yearly subscription or a single purchase. The subscription renews by itself for another year unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the current year ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and you manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. If Pro ends, no document is locked.
