## What is Pagelark?

Whether you are studying research papers, listening to EPUB ebooks, catching up on web articles, or digitizing physical books, Pagelark speaks it aloud seamlessly.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-25

Pagelark 1.1.1
A small maintenance update. Everything from 1.1 works just as before: reader text size, the voice pitch shortcut, and separate menus for playback speed and voices.

Thanks for listening with Pagelark!

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-22

What's new in Pagelark 1.1
• Reader text size: tap ⋯ → Text size and pick Compact, Standard or Large
• New voice pitch shortcut in the reader; changing pitch carries on from the word being read
• Separate menus for playback speed and voices
• New installs open with a welcome sample ready to play
• Tap a scan's detection card to jump to the page it quotes
• Swipe from the screen edge to go back
• Clearer, higher-contrast text throughout the app

Fixes
• Opening a sheet no longer freezes the app on iOS 17
• Playback no longer stalls when audio generation is slow or fails
• The sleep timer stays paused once it runs out
• Importing offline now says you're offline, and a finished import opens the reader

### 1.0.0 — 2026-10-22

No release notes.
