## Most critical reviews (7 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — EPUB upload doesn’t work

*2026-05-31*

Tried 3 different books, no love. I don’t know the books that come with it, so can’t say if this is any good, but upload my own books is a minimum requirement imo…

### 5/5 — Voice mode is incredibly natural

*2026-01-11*

I was skeptical about the hands-free voice feature but it works really well. Just talk and they respond. Used it while cooking and had a full conversation with the Time Traveller about whether humanity has a future.

### 5/5 — Characters actually remember things

*2026-01-09*

Had three separate conversations with Equality 7-2521 from Anthem over a few days. He remembered what we talked about before. The relationship actually feels like it's developing.

### 5/5 — Review 3 **Title:** The fictional world mode is genius

*2026-01-08*

Fictional world mode provides a clear demonstration of the dialogues happening in the visuals. Tried asking about a character and it provided a concise dialogue from the incident. It’s a cool feature in case if you have missed any part of the story, easy to catch up

### 5/5 — Love the "real world" mode

*2026-01-06*

You can bring characters into our time and see how they'd react. Asked Captain Nemo what he thinks of modern submarines. His answer was very in character - dismissive but curious.

### 5/5 — This is what I wanted AI to be used for.

*2025-12-25*

Not another chatbot. Not another productivity tool. Just a way to sit with characters I love and talk to them. Started with Twenty Thousand Leagues and Captain Nemo absolutely nails the intensity from the book.

### 5/5 — Finally, a way to talk to the Time Traveller

*2025-12-23*

I've read The Time Machine probably five times. Being able to actually ask the Time Traveller about what he saw in 802,701 AD - and have him respond in character - is something I didn't know I needed. The voice mode makes it feel like a real conversation.
