### 4/5 — Quick learning tool

Great help with “ house play “ …

Good app …now to trying live in a casino 😬

### 5/5 — GreatGame

Great design, I like the explanation on how to set up the cards. Great for practice!

### 5/5 — Best teacher

I used what I learned here in Nevada

### 5/5 — Love

*2021-02-26*

Love this game. With Casino not really enjoyable it gives me practice

### 5/5 — good to train

*2021-01-26, version 1.0*

very good to train before real gambling

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Accuracy issue

*2025-11-07, version 2.1.7*

Not accurate for house way

### 1/5 — Frozen

*2023-06-18*

When I opened the app for the first time, a window came up that said there was a “New Version”. Neither of the two buttons in this window worked.

And no X’s on the screen worked. I could not get past that first window.
So this was an easy delete.

### 1/5 — No good

*2021-07-26*

If you play the face up version, it does not set the dealers hands like they do in a casino and the finish is animated so just plays and then disappears instead of just showing the results in static fashion. Can’t play this.

### 2/5 — Not realistic

*2022-01-11*

When I first began playing this game I really enjoyed it. After playing several hands I noticed that the dealer gets an extreme amount of straights. If I could play at a casino using the dealer’s hands I would be banned for cheating. I wish the developers would make it more realistic.

### 3/5 — Meh

*2025-11-06*

The set up of the app is great, I like all the options on betting and house rules. However, I have never in my life lost so many hands in a row(I think the highest was 16). The dealer magically has a pair of aces almost every other hand, and when they don't, they have a flush or a straight. When I do get a decent hand the dealer has ace high so an auto push. The ads are way too often and way too long. I do hate that it doesn't adjust to my iPhone screen with the little cut out at the top, I have to swap the low hand cards to see them 1 at a time. Overall, the app looks good, but I'm probably going to delete it as it's not very fun when it seems stacked against you.

### 3/5 — Too many ads

*2025-01-13*

Too many ads between games. Annoying

### 3/5 — Good, but has one flaw

*2024-10-01*

I like the training mode, and it does help with understanding the game, but the game doesn’t acknowledge the existence of the dynamic island on newer iPhones. This results in the low hand and parts of the explanation windows, especially in training mode, getting covered by the dynamic island. It gets in the way of the experience and is really distracting

### 3/5 — I like the variants

*2023-04-04*

The game allows you to setup a variant that matches how some casinos play. But the layout of the cards is right where the camera is on the iphone so you can’t easily see your two cards on the top hand. Otherwise I’d give a 5 star review.

### 3/5 — Repeatable error

*2022-03-06*

On several occasions I have been dealt a straight but the house way doesn’t see it. If I play it my way (as a straight) my fortune bet is lost though I may still win the hand. Other than that it’s a fun time killer.

### 3/5 — Dealer wins

*2021-03-15*

Dealer wins the majority of the hands. Been playing for an hour and he/she has had 4 full houses, three flushes, Four 3of a kind and the joker 4 times. Not much fun too play. Cannot sharpen skills when constantly being beat

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good training

*2025-04-28*

Might have to get the version without commercials

### 5/5 — Good Practice

*2025-01-12*

I’m a dealer in a casino and I’m now learning Pai Gow. This app has been very helpful in learning and understanding the game.
New Bug: After the hand is completed, the app says I played the hand “Correct” even though I purposely did not. This is a recent problem. Please fix.

### 5/5 — Love the training

*2024-04-17*

It’s been hard finding a Pai Gow Poker app, let alone a training version to help improve your game skills. This one is super easy to learn from and it helps you learn from your mistakes in the process. Really fun game

### 5/5 — Great game

*2023-04-13*

a good way to familiarize before going ona live game 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

### 5/5 — Best Pai Gow game

*2022-08-09*

I’ve played them all and this one is by far the best. The training aspect is the best for novice players. They don’t gouge you like the others and the ads are only 5 seconds long!

### 5/5 — Bet.

*2021-12-26, version 1.4.1*

Chill way to learn.

### 5/5 — Fun

*2021-11-14*

I really enjoy this game, it is so much fun. Thank you very much for allowing me to play this amazing card game. It’s also helping me learn to set the cards house style. Have a great day.

### 5/5 — Great training app

*2021-07-28*

I like the way it has the house rules for various casinos…. the face up paigow apps are hard to find. Its helpful that you can set a wallet for each session and can bet real amounts - really lets you see how you would do at a real table. Great app. =)

### 5/5 — Simple and fun

*2021-07-17*

Simple and fun. Pop up adds are a bit much but fun enough to prep for Vegas.

### 5/5 — Learning to play

*2021-06-13*

Just learning to play. Good game for that
