Any advice February 2023 ### 1/5 — Truly terrible app *2022-11-17, version 1.0.2107* I have been chatting with customer support for a week now trying to get the app to connect to my watch, and it hasn’t worked yet. It’s infuriating. The app shows “request times out” every time I try to do something, including stopping my phone from buzzing all night. The fact that there are this many bad reviews if their app and there have been no fixes yet says a lot about the company. ### 1/5 — Cannot start the application *2022-11-17, version 1.0.2107* Problems started when the original version of the app stopped linking with the Urun S watch. I then removed the app and reinstalled it. This time I cannot log into it or register it as new. I occasionally get a message stating that there is an SSL error during the login process. It won’t sync with the watch until the 3rd or forth reboot, any there is nothing user friendly about it. It just spins and times out. I have tried to reset my password. Sends a code put out in the box put in password spins and time out again. It’s basically useless to me. When ever the battery runs down I have to reset everything. I guess it’s bound for the trash can. Won’t buy their products again. I doubt this will show up in a review. This is my third try. It remains to be seen whether they've adequately addressed the problem so this doesn't cause an outage again in the future. I've left my previous review below because the rest still applies, but updated the app rating accordingly since it is functional again. For the exercise ball, it works well aside from being cloud tethered. I'd give it another star or two if they'd get rid of that requirement and have it store data locally on my device and only sync when necessary or available so the app always works regardless of their server infrastructure - that just isn't robust enough or reliable enough the way it's implemented today. App doesn't track events without talking to their servers and their certificate expired again so it can't communicate with the servers. This means it doesn't keep records of what you're doing and you can't even see other workouts or any other data because apparently all of it lives in their cloud and nothing is kept on your device or your iCloud data for the app? Pretty annoying when you can fully automate certificate renewal for free these days. It doesn't speak highly of the development team or the company they're working for. I'm somewhat sure it'll be back up eventually but this is a very awful level of service to the customers who buy their products. As a suggestion, if it's not feasible to keep your infrastructure up and running reliably and responsively at this time, how about storing a local copy of the app data on the device and have it sync when it gets a good connection or the service isn't down or broken so that we can at least still use the app with your products? That would be a good middle ground. ### 3/5 — Mysterious code *2021-07-23, version 1.0.2084* I was so angry with this app asking for some code I didn’t know where to find it or what it meant. Guys. You have to enter your email address and then hit send beside the code input box. It will send you a code. Would have been excellent to have a better user interface so we could all easily come to this conclusion. Only been using the app for a day but I’ve seen so many people angry about this and then my boyfriend figured it out for us. Will update once I use it more. 3 stars because I couldn’t figure it out myself lol. ### 3/5 — Code problem *2021-01-01, version 1.0.2060* Had a problem trying to work out how to get the “enter code” box in the registration to work. After a number of attempts I added By chance “44” and clicked “send”. This then forwarded a code to my email and I have successfully registered my account. The app itself is fine and pairing with the urun watch was easy enough after registration.
