I use this app for all sorts of aches & pains, including using the Rife setting and wrapping headphones around my foot for at least 20 to alleviate pain of plantar fasciitis! It took some regular and frequent applications but it's working! I can feel the a tingling sensation moving throughout the heel of my foot. Nothing else has worked in almost a year. I find that the tones make me relax and turn my brain off enough to help the rest do their thing. It is most effective for me when I wake up with the migraine and couldn’t pretreat before it gets out of control. I purchased the bundle app for $5.99 which includes Pain Killer 2 and Depression ZX. Instead of charging $5.99 as gold developer advertises, I was charged $6.48 twice (Total $12.96). I went to Apple purchase history which reflects the purchase pending but it will not allow me to cancel either purchase. The sound does NOT fade at the end of your session and it Does jolt you out of sleep, if you do fall asleep! Lastly... there is absolutely no app support available! The website is just a string of app descriptions identical to the app description listed here as well as all of the developer’s other apps. There are a string of buttons at the bottom of the website for various social media platforms (and email) with the soul purpose of getting you to share and post about the apps, but not to get in touch with the developer. There is absolutely no way to get In touch with the developer. Grrrrrr Update!!! I did find the developer’s email address within the app’s help documentation. ### 3/5 — Pain Killer 2.0 *2017-02-06, version 1.8* I've been using this app for around five years now. I find the 'de-stress' set up for 20 minutes perfect for meditation on a busy train. And the hertz frequency can also be a good subtle background timer when meditating and you just want to know when 20 minutes are up. I can't validate the painkilling effects but I think the fact that I'm still using this app almost every day for five years is more than enough to show it's helpful and I would certainly recommend giving it a go. ### 4/5 — Works well for me *2025-12-26, version 2.1* The ‘Migraines’ setting helps calm the throbbing pain while I rest and let my medicine work. The ‘Sleep + Pain’ setting helps me get to sleep faster even when I don’t have pain. For extreme pain that the medicines didn’t work all the way this app when used in conjunction allowed me to get to a functional level and on pain that isn’t over the top extreme I use the app by itself and don’t have to use meds. I cannot recommend this app enough. I actually bought all the apps this developer made bec they changed my life and I just wanted to support them in any way I could.
