Maybe The developer did provide a good response , but it did not really resolve the issue, though I probably will consider a trial period when I have some time to work with it. **Developer response:** It's totally fair to feel you can't get a real sense of the app without committing. The free version does limit you to just 6 preset shades to try out. Unlocking premium is what opens up the full color mixer and all features. We offer a few different ways to do that, and some include a free trial. Если такой подход не для вас, мы это понимаем. ### 2/5 — Good luck trying to use it between ads *2025-06-14* Sort of does what it’s supposed to. Lets you take a picture and sort of paint the objects in the picture, but had to dismiss 3 ads which seem to pop up every 45 seconds while I was trying to figure out the tools. Also, the “paint” doesn’t cover. For example; we were trying to see what it would look like if we painted our brick fireplace white. Their fill tool forced us to tap each individual brick and then, because the bricks were different shades, they were different shades of white once “painted”. Do not recommend **Developer response:** That sounds like a really frustrating first try, and we hear you on the ad frequency - the free tier does have a heavy ad load. Unlocking premium removes all ads and opens up the full color mixer. For the brick fireplace, the paint applies as a semi-transparent overlay by design to keep the texture, but you can adjust its opacity in the 3-dot menu. And for detailed surfaces like that, the tap-to-fill tool can be tricky; polygon and lasso give much more precise control. ### 2/5 — Not working *2025-03-30* I bought the app and I’m trying to import hex colors, but it never works. **Developer response:** Sorry to hear the HEX color import isn't working for you. It's a common spot people miss: the option is under the 3-dot menu in the top right, labeled 'Add HEX color', not inside the color picker. Give that a try. The app is continuously flashing with different colours and won’t let me do anything. ### 1/5 — Fun, but potentially frustrating. *2025-02-08* Make sure your local store can actually mix the paint you want before you pay to design a project. I found a shade of yellow that I loved only to find out. Home Depot doesn’t have the RHB color system whatever that means. It might say that somewhere in the description and I just missed it, but I thought if anyone else only has a Home Depot nearby they should know before paying. **Developer response:** It's genuinely frustrating to find a color you love in the app, only to discover your local store can't mix it from their system. We hear you on that. The app provides the exact HEX code for any color in your saved projects (you can find it by opening the saved swatch). Many paint stores can use a HEX code to match a shade, even if they don't use the same internal system. You can also add specific HEX codes into the app via the 3-dot menu in the top right. ### 1/5 — Do not pay for this *2025-01-27, version 3.3.48* Garbage. Not worth the download, only had limited colors unless you paid for premium ### 1/5 — Does not work *2024-12-28, version 3.3.48* Loading pictures is impossible, screen vibrates and does not show image. Waste of time. ### 1/5 — Colors not true *2024-12-27* Not only are the colors not true, but you can’t try specific paint colors. I was able to find the hex numbers for the paints I was interested in,however; the colors do not come across true in this app. It’s a waste of money **Developer response:** That's really frustrating when you're trying to get a precise color and it doesn't look right. The app applies paint as a semi-transparent layer to keep the wall texture underneath, which can make colors look a bit different than a flat swatch. You can adjust the transparency in the 3-dot menu (top right) to see if that helps get closer to what you expect. We're really sorry it's felt like a waste of money. ### 2/5 — Should have ready colors code so that user can directly choose *2024-11-12* This app should have color codes as well so that it will be easy for users to directly choose color instead of combining the RGB combination. **Developer response:** It's a really good point that finding precise color codes, or even knowing the HEX of a color you've picked, isn't as straightforward as it should be. While we don't have built-in brand catalogs, you can add exact HEX colors: tap the 3-dot menu (top right) → 'Add HEX color'. And you're right, seeing the HEX while picking isn't there - it only shows up once you save the project and open the swatch. ### 1/5 — Not good. *2024-06-02, version 3.3.37* You only get about 5 choices of colors unless you pay for more. Nous savons que l'affichage actuel du sélecteur n'est pas idéal pour la précision. ### 3/5 — App shuts down *2024-04-08* Middle of a project about to finish and the app randomly shuts down and ruins everything. **Developer response:** That's genuinely frustrating to have the app crash and lose your progress right at the end of a project. We know long sessions can sometimes lead to crashes, and reopening the app between projects can help with stability. Since all work is saved locally on your device, we unfortunately don't have a way to recover lost projects. Danke für die tollen Vorschläge! ### 1/5 — Confused? *2024-01-21* I purchased the extra color pallet for $9.00 but it doesn ‘t give you individual color pallets, just the option to move your finger around on a colored rainbow to sort of find a color that sort of works. **Developer response:** Sounds like you were hoping the "extra color pallet" unlock would bring specific brand swatches, and that's a fair expectation. What it actually unlocks is the full color mixer - the RGB and hue sliders you described - so you can dial in *any* shade. We don't have a built-in brand catalog, but you can get exact brand colors by looking up their HEX code online, then tapping the 3-dot menu at the top right, choosing "Add HEX color", and typing it in. This is not “wade”. **Developer response:** Totally get how frustrating edge bleed can be with the auto-fill tool. For much cleaner lines, the polygon and lasso tools are often key, plus the 'expand area' slider helps with precision. You're right too, the free version only offers a few shades. Not so. And I tried to lighten my yellow walls and the app turned them blue. I feel ripped off. **Developer response:** We hear your disappointment about finding brand-name paints. It's true the listing reads like there's a built-in catalog for brands like Benjamin Moore or Behr, and there isn't one. You can still get exact shades by looking up their HEX code online, then tapping the 3-dot menu in the top right → 'Add HEX color' in the app. The yellow walls turning blue is definitely not right, and we'd want to understand what happened there. ### 1/5 — Not worth it *2025-03-06* I found this app did a poor job recognizing shapes in a room. Once you unlock premium it’s so easy to use. Doesn’t link to specific paints to purchase AFAIK but that is a plus IMHO, keeps things nimble.
