### 3/5 — Almost

*2019-12-20, version 2.2.1*

Was really happy to find. Bought and sat down with a pile of paints to add in.

Scanned several.

Found them.

Didn’t add it to inventory. Can’t figure out what im not doing. Not much documentation or hints.

### 3/5 — Good way to keep inventory But

*2019-11-19, version 2.2.1*

It has a lot going for it. Easy to use yes, great way to keep inventory yes, easy to narrow and search for specific paints yes. What it lacks upkeep on new paints a lot of newly released paints just not on the list

### 3/5 — Half Good

*2019-10-08, version 2.2.1*

I like the inventory management part, it will help. However, what this app needs to really take it up like 10 notches is a color comparison or a way to sort by color/shade.

A lot of work I know, but it would take your app so much further than it is now. Doesn’t have to PERFECT. Call it a recommendation, let the community provide input and it’ll fix itself overtime.

### 3/5 — Problems fixed!

*2017-09-08, version 2.1.1*

Works better now.

### 4/5 — This is an indispensable app!

*2017-08-07, version 2.0*

This is a great app for keeping inventory of your paints or making lists of what you need for a project. It's the only one I've found if its kind, and I'm very happy with it.

### 4/5 — Great app for my paints list

*2017-01-16, version 2.0*

I've finally managed to keep track of paints at home and per project:). Good job!

### 3/5 — Mostly good

*2016-02-08, version 1.0.1*

The app is great for keeping track of which paints you have and that's about it. There are also some missing colors from the latest line (1 base, 2 shades and several dry's which could be easily updated). The layout is fine, but I'm not sure this is worth the price for how little there is, and a lack of updates.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No general paints

*2021-06-02, version 2.3*

Doesn’t show any Home Depot or Lowe’s paints...should include these because that’s what more people use that are middle to lower class.

### 1/5 — Paint selection not up to date

*2020-05-06, version 2.2.1*

I have a lot of Reaper paints. Scanned 15 and only 2 showed up and one of them came up as a different paint that I don’t own.

### 1/5 — Not an exhaustive list of paints....

*2019-07-19, version 2.2.1*

Even with the list it says it supports, some paints aren’t found by this app.

### 1/5 — Not worth the money

*2019-07-18, version 2.2.1*

Barcode scanner works some of time. When it does work, it tells you the name of the paint but does not add it to your inventory.
This app does not have color comparisons.
If you want to manually compile a list of you paints you can do so via text for free

### 1/5 — They said no

*2016-11-17, version 2.0*

I can't make an account so I can't try this out. Not a good start.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2016-04-22, version 2.0*

Spent like 10 minutes scanning my paints and it won't even put it into the list and it won't scan large pots, what's the point.

### 1/5 — Zero Stars

*2016-04-08, version 2.0*

Utterly useless. Non functional if Internet is dead due to the login requirement. I want a stand alone app. I don't want to share anything. I just wanted a shopping list for paints. That was all.

### 2/5 — Don’t buy it

*2019-02-16, version 2.2.1*

Yeah it has a nice inventory of paints but I can’t figure out why the developer chose to implement the app in such a way that requires the user to tap like 4 times just to add a paint to a list. Since iOS has 3D Touch I can’t fathom why we can’t press and hold a paint name and have our lists pop up to select and add it to. Right now you have to tap the paint name and that takes you to a useless screen called “list”. In there you select the list menu then on the next screen your actual lists show up. You then have to click the list you want to add your paint into but it’s not over yet. You then have to click the green ok arrow on the top of the screen and then navigate all the way back out to the paint menu with a few more taps. Usability here is so clunky.

### 2/5 — Needs a little work to be useful for me.

*2018-03-18, version 2.2.1*

It’s got potential, but isn’t there yet, imo. Interface is a little clunky and could be streamlined. I went to the “My Paints” section and then clicked the barcode scanner. I scanned about 10 bottles thinking that it would add them to the list but it didn’t seem to do anything other than tell me what the name of the paint was. It didn’t actually add it to my list. Hopefully I’m doing something wrong. It does keep track of your paints, which is its sole purpose, but adding and removing them from your list should be easier, especially since there aren’t other features requiring attention. The scanner works the best of the three similar apps I’ve tried, but otherwise, the others have been more useful to me so far.

### 3/5 — Useful but…

*2022-08-13, version 2.3*

It has a lot of functionality that is helpful. The only problem is that I don’t know if it’s being updated anymore. Newer paints have come out that aren’t in the database and haven’t been added in some time. Sadly there doesn’t seem to be a way to get in touch with the developer.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome and very helpful app but even better staff!

*2019-10-05, version 2.2.1*

I noticed the gw range was missing a paint or two and to my amazement it was added same day I sent an email to request it. Dev definitely stands by and supports the app as they well should awesome.

### 5/5 — Insanely useful and intuitive

*2018-06-09, version 2.2.1*

Straightforward inventory management for one’s miniature paints. Has all of my essential features, notably vendor paint libraries, a barcode scanner and sharing (though it would not take any of the old Citadel pots). I want to add that it’s worth more than the nominal fee, and I would have gladly paid more. Just works!

### 5/5 — Very handy when buying paints at the hobby shop

*2017-02-01, version 2.0*

I'm a sucker for Apps that aid in our hobby. There only like 3 but even if there were 34; this would be at the top of my hobby App list. I'm also an organization nerd. This app helped me keep an updated stock list of my paints as well as aided me in creating my restock list. Maybe I'm just niche market, within a niche market but, I love this app. An earlier review mentioned offline troubles and that makes sense. Luckily I get a good satellite signal at my FLGS. Thanks GDL!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2014-07-07, version 1.0.1*

Helps me keep track of the vast amount of paints i have from Citadel. Would be nice if if you could between what you have and what you need, and if it gave you a total number. Like if it told you have 25 base colors, you need 13. You have 157 total paints and need 25. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Works

*2014-05-14, version 1.0.1*

Does what it say it does... Simply a list of current paint colors. Would be nice if they had note fields, custom color fields for each paint (i.e. Two parts this plus two parts that on this model, or for other brands being entered in).

### 4/5 — Better than the alternatives if you use a variety of paints

*2019-03-02, version 2.2.1*

Very useful app if you have paints beyond just Citadel's line. But really needs the ability to add custom paints, especially since there are some missing from Citadel and P3. More frequent updates would also help, but for this to be a one-stop miniature paint app, it really needs the ability to add custom paints.

### 4/5 — Scan function lacking

*2019-02-09, version 2.2.1*

Wish I could scan barcodes and add them to my lists. Other than that it is a great app.

### 4/5 — Handy but needs to be updated.

*2018-10-23, version 2.2.1*

I love the app but the data is a year old. Needs to be updated!

### 4/5 — Good utility.

*2017-10-24, version 2.2.1*

Great utility and better than nothing but, needs a few more features. Ability to filter my paint list and add notes like getting low or how many I have. Missing some paints from Citadel. Great work though. Thanks!

### 4/5 — Almost there...

*2017-10-11, version 2.2.1*

Very nice. Would like:
1. Ability to turn off paint lines that I don’t have or need
2. Ability to mark how many bottles of a paint I have

Nice if there was a way to add “similar paints” in the database
