Considering how easy it can be to shoot less than stellar photos with an iPhone--or any camera-- this little app ( get the upgrade so you can save large images!) can make some so-so shots look positively ARTISTIC w/a bit of delightful--& quick--experimentation...no lie! The only con I can think of is using up your battery if you're not plugged in to AC, so don't get lost in the app, which is reminiscent of Painter at its amazing level, and miss that all-important phone call...you know, that job offer you were waiting to hear about around a year ago? Enuf blather...JUST BUY THIS APP & TELL YOUR FRIENDS!! There's plenty of range built in to keep your choices quite personalized so you're not creating your own competition...& write the developers, beg for that desktop version, PDF output, presets as in SketchMee Pro, and a slider for adjusting the light source as a special treat! ### 5/5 — PaintMee *2010-11-14, version 0* Amazing! When it was working it helped me to "see" more abstractly and to plan my artwork with that abstract quality in mind (which is actually very hard to do). Please fix this app! But I can only edit my photos one way or they show up the wrong way. I have no idea how to rotate the pictures up right. Unfortunately, it keeps crashing. I also have not gotten a rendered image that I liked, even after tweaking each of the different settings. I have an iPad and really liked the app. I thought the upgrade would have been on the level of sketch me - iPad friendly. It crashes, crashes, crashes. Even with a several reboots. I would have gladly given them the $4.95 if they had really put out a crash free upgrade for the iPad. It just seems like a slick move. Why should I support them when in fact they made a conscious decision not to upgrade this product a plus sign app. ( for iPhone and iPad ) I will give them $4.95 to reverse the the upgrade and let me have the capabilities it had before this latest upgrade which renders the app hit or miss. They have and rendered the app unstable and limited the apps output, now they want you to pay an output that you already had. I'm very surprised and disappointed. I will never upgrade an app again no matter how much I like it without first reading reviews of it effects. ### 1/5 — I agree ... DON'T UPGRADE!! *2010-08-10, version 0* I agree with a previous reviewer. Don't buy neither! I bought it and with the upgrade they want to charge you $5 for iPhone 4 and higher resolution! Neat App but not worth it! Shame on these greedy developers. It's a shame I own their sketch mee too!  I mistakenly upgraded and am screwed now and the app is worthless for bigger prints.
