## What is PainTrail?

Living with chronic pain means remembering details your doctor needs — right when you're least able to. PainTrail is a private, calm way to log pain, symptoms, and medications as life happens, so you walk into every appointment with the full picture instead of scattered notes and guesswork.

PainTrail is a calm, structured place to record pain as life happens.

Log where you feel pain, rate the intensity, add context, and include a note only when it helps. Review a dated history by day, week, month, or all time so the details do not have to live in scattered notes—or in memory alone.

WHAT YOU CAN RECORD

• Pain location and 0–10 intensity
• Context such as sleep, stress, activity, weather, and medication taken
• Optional notes
• Medication name, dose as entered, time, and notes
• Questions for an upcoming visit

REVIEW YOUR OWN HISTORY

See daily entries, simple trends, common locations, and descriptive observations based only on what you entered. PainTrail may flag a logged day whose average pain is at least two points above the selected period's average. This is a descriptive comparison, not a medical assessment. PainTrail does not diagnose causes or recommend care.

PREPARE A USER-ENTERED SUMMARY

Create a PDF with pain averages and peaks, locations, context, and medication records for the selected date range. Questions saved for an upcoming visit remain in the app and are not included in the PDF.

PRIVATE, WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT

Your records are stored in local app storage. PainTrail has no product account, backend server, advertising, or analytics integration. Files leave local app storage only when you choose to share a PDF or manually export a JSON backup.

FREE

• Unlimited pain and medication logging
• Day, week, month, and all-time history and summary views
• PDF exports up to 30 days
• Manual JSON backup and restore for pain check-ins and medication records

PAINTRAIL PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE

• Optional free-text notes in PDF exports

PainTrail is intended for personal tracking and informational purposes. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication guidance, or emergency support. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about medical decisions.
