So much cheaper to add a sun topper than getting two pairs of prescription glasses. I had a pair of transitions but i hatted when I walk inside they were still dark and felt the need to take them off for a bit but then was blind. My doctor says when I have cataract surgery I probably wont need glasses. But i may wear them anyways with no prescription. Sometimes I want to switch up mid day! The only thing I would want is some Swarovski Crystals and stronger magnets. I lost my favorite topper that looked like Labradorite and I’ve yet to see it come back in stock. So when you say limited, u mean it!!! I get so many compliments . One thing I’ve seen other Eyewear owners mention is the magnets . It would be nice if they were a little stronger. Maybe a magnet in the middle as well. I tend to knock them off easily. This is my fourth pair of glasses and I love all the toppers. I can never get enough. They make it so simple easy and with the flex now you can actually see what’s covered and what’s not under your FSA or HSA. Makes it very hard to look through them when they aren’t visible. Rated the app one star for visibility. Hoping this will get fixed ASAP! Also, bundling on the app is a nightmare. ### 1/5 — Whoever you paid to build this app, you paid them too much money *2026-08-04, version 1.1* - [ ] The app defaults to Check “yes” for getting texts. And then they text you to death. It should default to “no”. - [ ] The app doesn’t save your frame shape - [ ] It doesn’t show preview videos on the premium toppers in my frame shape anymore - [ ] Also, those preview videos are dumb! Not long enough. Every view should be a 360°. And there isn’t enough side and to side and back and forth to show off the premium. - [ ] The lady showing the toppers doesn’t show up on the app. - [ ] Who picked that lady anyway? She’s so far away and the frames are so skinny, that showing it is useless. - [ ] But I still want it back in the hopes that maybe you’ll fix it and she’ll be closer with a bigger frame. - [ ] I can’t sort from oldest to newest or vice versa. - [ ] The back button doesn’t take you back to what you were looking at. It takes you out to the main menu. This is highly aggravating. - [ ] The order page requires extra clicks to see if an order is fulfilled. It doesn’t say it on the main order page. - [ ] It doesn’t show your order number on the main order page. Only if you go into details. - [ ] My order history doesn’t show all the images. - [ ] At the moment, 7/27, my favorites don’t show any images. Update: as of 8/4 my favorites don’t show anything at all. Just a white screen. - [ ] The create your own bundle page requires you to scroll through THOUSANDS of toppers to find the ones you want because there is no filter and it also shows all the out of stock items. - [ ] When you search for a topper and open it, it doesn’t tell you what collection it’s from. Or show you anything else from that collection. The website shows the collection and the thumbnails for all the coordinating toppers. - [ ] I can’t save images on the app for my database like I can on the website. - [ ] If you filter a search and you get no results, you don’t actually get anything that says no results. You just get a white screen. - [ ] When you remove something from favorites, it takes you all the way back to the top of the favorites list again. So if your list is long, you’re scrolling and scrolling over and over again. - [ ] When you search, it doesn’t search your frame shape - [ ] No easy access to rewards history - [ ] You can Save for Later from your cart but it doesn’t actually tell you that it moves it to favorites. - [ ] I can be scrolling through a long list but the app “refreshes” me to the top of the list before I get to the bottom so I can’t ever get to the bottom. - [ ] The toppers don’t show up on glasses. So you can’t see what crystals look like on different colored frames. - [ ] You can’t search for framed finds. On the website, one of the groups listed under toppers is framed finds. - [ ] The framed finds added in with collections, for example the campus Classics, don’t show up in the framed finds group or list. - [ ] It does not default to the better discount. It sometimes does. But not always. (this applies to the app and the website). ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2026-07-10, version 1.0* Great idea, extremely poor execution. My main issue is with the “app exclusive” build your own 5 topper bundle process…when I filter for my choice frames (adult women’s style) the list is full of 1) out of stock toppers—WHY?, just why??—and 2) toppers for the Cedro style—a children’s frame topper—NOT what I filtered for… It takes an unnecessarily long time to weed through the things that you tried to filter out in the first place…and then you get booted out of the list all together and have to start over… Then, if you manage to get a bundle in your cart, you have no way to edit one pair without starting completely over… SO FRUSTRATING!! ### 1/5 — Can’t login & can’t get help *2026-06-27, version 1.0* This app is useless, bc I cannot login and can’t get help from customer support. Have tried over & over to login. When I enter my email address, the app never sends me the code I need to continue the process. Not in my junk mail & email address is the one on my account & correct. Support has not helped clear this issue. Would love to be able to use the app, but for now, I’m deleting it and have stopped my Pair+ membership. As much as I love my glasses and toppers, you’ve lost a customer, due to poor customer service. I’ll be sure to tell everyone that comments on my glasses about my experience. ### 1/5 — The worst, most unintuitive app I’ve used *2026-06-20, version 1.0* Seriously, this app has to be the worst I’ve used. Let’s go through my issues. 1. Want to build a bundle of toppers? One of the “app exclusive perks”? Sure! Go for it! No search option though. Have fun scrolling through thousands of out of stock and in stock toppers to find the ones you want to build that bundle. 2. Sign-up with Google. You’re able to sign up with Google in the app, but when you go to log in on browser, you have to reset your password because it does not allow you to sign in through Google. Why!? 3. “Discount code is valid but does not apply to this order”. Why? There was no explanation for this one. I then tried to get a different referral code discount and it said “turn off hide ip address to get discount code”. I’m sorry, what!? Apple just does that, it’s a feature of the phone. I can’t just turn it off 4. “Go into my orders in order to upload your prescription”. Fun fact: this setting is nowhere to be found in the app. Only on browser. 5. “Sign up for texts to receive a free topper”… (with a purchase of $200 or more, the same discount applicable to everyone). I’m not spending that much on my first time trying but a free topper sure would have been great! This was just the worst experience. If the glasses weren’t going to be so useful for me, I would 100% be using ANY other company. It was THE MOST frustrating thing ever. ### 1/5 — Can’t Dismiss Ad *2026-06-14* I wanted to use the virtual try on but it pops up an ad asking if I’m shopping for men or women, and to enter my phone number for 15% off. I have no interest in this, but you can’t interact with the x to close the ad. It simply does not register that you’re tapping the x and will not dismiss the ad. I have quit the app several times and it still brings that ad up at virtual try on. Very disappointing. The website constantly freezes and is also difficult to do virtual try on so I had hoped the app would be easier. Oh well, I guess I’ll just delete it. ### 1/5 — Wildly disappointing *2026-06-10* Tried three times to build an order in the app. Could not add base frames to cart, in spite of multiple attempts. Spent over an hour choosing toppers from 100’s of options only to have the add to cart button fail. ### 2/5 — App stinks. Use website. *2026-07-17, version 1.0* I love my pair glasses, but this app is unusable! It won’t save any of my favorites and it won’t even load half of the images regardless of if I’m on WiFi or data. The app needs serious work. ### 3/5 — New App *2026-08-12, version 1.0* Pro: The new app is much more user friendly than what I was dealing with before. No doubt about it!! Cons: Not being able to enlarge any of the images is a real nuisance! I have to take individual pics of the images and then leave the app to enlarge them in my photos. NOT COOL. The images also don’t include a person wearing them. This has been the pic that decided for me whether to buy them or not. Now I’m much more hesitant to purchase anything that I’m on the fence about. NOT COOL. SUGGESTION: Include a way for each consumer to be able to see a pic of a person wearing the frame style that they use. That would be an OUTSTANDING feature! ### 3/5 — It's early and still really buggy *2026-08-01, version 1.1* I was so excited for this app, and I cannot wait until it is functioing well. Now, you cannot zoom on on the photos to get a closer look at a top, half the time the photos accompanied with the top frame do not load or disappear. The screen bounces back to the top while trying to browse, making it impossible to look at lists. I first decided to try pair for the sunglasses toppers, and I’ve been addicted ever since! It wasn’t until I got my first Pair-ware (as I like to call ‘em) that I fell in LOVE with frames on my face. I get so many compliments on my glasses, and it feels like an exclusive club anytime I meet someone out in the wild who’s also sporting Pair frames. Plus all the toppers options that I can change as often as I like, whenever the mood strikes, or my outfit needs a boost, my Pair-ware has me covered. Plus the prescription lenses are so affordable, even without insurance! And ordering is so easy.
