Infant adoption should absolutely last resort, this is predatory on mothers and shatters families forever. Adoption is trauma on the child and birth family, and cannot be undone. Infertile couples will do and say anything pretty to get their grubby paws on a womb wet infant. Infants cannot fix your crumbling marriage. Infants are not items to be purchased to fulfill an emotional void in adults. They can make themselves out to be picture perfect and STILL be completely abusive when they finally get a child. The child may even be a daily reminder of their unprocessed infertility issues, and obvious resentment may be always present. Bottom line, no $$$$ is made keeping families together. Follow the money and who is benefiting. Not the child or birth parents for sure.
