## What is paka?

paka is where your lecturer runs the live class, and this app is the easy way to join it from your phone.

You receive a personal link from whoever invited you. Tap it, or paste it into the app, type your name and you are in the room.

In the room:
• See and hear the lecturer and the people who have the floor
• Turn on your microphone or camera when it is your turn
• Raise your hand, react, and write in the class chat
• Live captions when the lecturer turns them on
• Keep listening when the screen is locked or you switch to another app

For participants there is no account and no sign-up: the link is all you need.

Lecturers can sign in with Apple or Google, open a classroom of their own and send the invite link to their class.
