### 3/5 — Please Fix!!

*2026-05-21*

PRIORITY! - Please fix the swipe to the right feature to display chat history. As much as I absolutely love this new ability, it should not be active within the editing window of the chat, especially not when trying to highlight any text within the editing window.
- Please provide the ability to delete multiple unneeded chats at a time, still love what you have already in place. I just wish there was a better way to mass-delete garbage chats that were mass produced by various implementations of my daily routine shortcuts usage.
- Please provide a better way to store/organize starred or desired chats in folders or at the least allow them to be renamed for later retrieval. It’s such a pain having to find any specific chats from the past when there a several variations of them.

### 3/5 — Add a feature to attach a photo from the camera for iPads

*2026-05-07*

Request

**Developer response:** Camera support is now available!

### 2/5 — No tool use

*2026-04-18, version 1.0.68*

There is no webfetch or websearch tools. Models are completely una bb Le to perform any grounding.

Even in the pro version. This is an enormous feature gap.

### 4/5 — Great app. Needs better custom endpoint support

*2026-04-06*

Right now only can set one model for custom host/key

**Developer response:** The new pal chat update overhaul supports multiple models and custom hosts 🙏

### 3/5 — Decent but expensive

*2026-03-10*

Very responsive app, well built and I use it to connect to my LM STUDIO server at home. However, the subscription is way too expensive for what it gives you. $7 a month is a lot to ask for remote access. also there is no way to set a default server so it’s always switching to other models

### 2/5 — Custom endpoints don’t work

*2026-03-01, version 1.0.68*

Openrouter models and custom endpoints don’t work at all

### 3/5 — Frustrating!!

*2025-11-11, version 1.0.65*

The update may be pretty but flawed as all get out!!!

Please FIX!
The hellish scrolling. It’s impossible to even highlight or select specific text to copy. How does anyone use this app effectively?

### 2/5 — Frustrating!!

*2025-09-19*

The update may be pretty but flawed as all get out!!!

Please FIX!

After starting a conversation, you proceed to type out gigantic, painfully explained request, I push send. Only to realize that instead of submitting my request, your UI thinks I want to edit the previous A.I. response. Which leads you to having to retype the entire request!

### 2/5 — Great but…

*2025-09-13, version 1.0.63*

Can you add folders for projects with a part to add instructions like the chatgpt app. And a web search function for things that require it. Basically a chatgpt dupe would be excellent. And got 5 isn’t working too.

### 4/5 — Great app free for out own api keys

*2025-07-26, version 1.0.60*

I don’t know why other app charger money to use own api keys its so greedy this app doesn’t do it currently thats a good thing

### 4/5 — Great app with some room for improvement

*2025-07-19, version 1.0.60*

All in all one of my favorite “bring your own key” LLM apps.

Unfortunately the Gemini Pro models available aren’t the ones included in the free API tier, and Pollinations.ai only supports anonymous use (i.e. there’s no API key option available).

Openrouter available models are fetched dynamically, though, so at least everything is available there.

### 5/5 — stop button did not work

*2025-04-01*

when using stop generate button, the stop request was not sent to the api server, this is obvious when using local server but not so obvious when using online server since they are fast enough to receive new request and generate new. Please fix this bug

### 1/5 — It's gone

*2026-06-25, version 1.0.72*

I clicked plus, my chat is gone. i lost it.

### 1/5 — Extreme leech/Rent-seeking behaviour

*2026-06-02, version 1.0.71*

As the title says they want you to pay $70 a year to 'support' them telling an LLM to (poorly) code an application and then they expect you to pay for the ACTUAL product yourself too. They want to provide nothing, no skill, no work, no service, and STILL collect $70 of rent for their 'product' that is just an interface for another rent-seeking product.

Normally I'd never say this because at least TRYING to develop an application is a good goal, it betters yourself, and maybe someday it'll better others too and I truly believe if positive things provide no reward then it sets up a system where the good folks get nothing and the lousy ones end up with everything.

That said? Getting an AI to program an application and then charging more for it than for the AI that wrote it? That's not 'good'. This is an application that shouldn't exist and a programmer who I wish had got into dance or medicine or ANY other field where doing nothing and demanding pay for it wasn't an option.

### 1/5 — Goofy ahhh pay to use app

*2026-05-31, version 1.0.71*

Pay to use app for that stupid amount of functions, what a shame and it’s subscription service! Not even a one time purchase

### 1/5 — confused

*2026-05-21, version 1.0.70*

a recent update seems to now default to openai and chatgpt, despite previous version allowing me to default to openrouter and other LLM, cant work out how to circumvent this so have deleted

### 1/5 — Review Pestering

*2026-04-18, version 1.0.68*

Asked me for a review four times while trying to write my first chat message, so here’s your star. Very annoying app.

### 1/5 — Im not doing this just for that

*2026-04-11, version 1.0.68*

Im not downloading an apikey just so i can open or unlock the chat this app is pretty useless now if this app requires that

### 1/5 — Soooo buggy

*2025-04-17, version 1.0.55*

Keeps getting stuck on using OpenAI with no ability to change the provider even though I have only an open router api key. Even if I put my OpenAI key it still doesn’t allow me to change the provider. The models tab in the top right just disappears completely and I have to uninstall and reinstall the app. Insanely frustrating

### 1/5 — real quality

*2025-04-11, version 1.0.55*

my favorite $7/month app got an update ^-^ don’t worry the new updated grok support definitely doesn’t cause any errors like "error":"An empty user message was provided. Every user message needs at least one non-empty content element."

### 1/5 — Too many nags

*2025-02-22, version 1.0.48*

The prompts to upgrade to subscription are so annoying. Take a hint. So much stuff behind a subscription paywall. Stuff that should never be a subscription in the first place. Set a price for your software and let us buy it.

### 1/5 — Dissatisfied with the move to a subscription model

*2025-02-08, version 1.0.43*

★☆☆☆☆
I’ve relied on this app for a long time, but switching essential features to a subscription model feels like a major downgrade. Some services that were once free now require a recurring payment, which is frustrating. I understand the need for developers to monetize their work, but I prefer a one-time purchase or a fair upgrade fee over an ongoing subscription. Unfortunately, this change makes it hard for me to continue using the app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-08-02*

I have been looking for an AI capable of keeping up with me for so long I’ve only engaged with the AI since November of last year roughly about 10 months and most of that time was with ChatGPT and after about three months I spent the remainder months trying to teach you how I think so that I could have an accurate farm partner and a way to improve myself however it kept doing circles and letting me down time after time to where the straw finally broke the camels back and I got this and I am thrilled with the results and it’s been day I’m still on day one

### 5/5 — Хорошее приложение

*2026-07-16*

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-06-12, version 1.0.72*

Very responsive dev

### 5/5 — THE app for newbie AI Devs & Model-hoppers

*2026-04-19*

I’m a Model-hopper that’s just getting into beginner AI development, attempting to teach myself the basics the same way I learned HTML & PHP when I was in high school 25 years ago. This app is truly a godsend - it basically walks you through how to add each AI model’s API keys and makes things easy to understand for new AI developers. MUCH more user friendly than many of the alternative apps out there - and MUCH cheaper as well (only 6.99/mo for Pro membership). I’ve yet to run across any ads (even when I was still using the free version), nor have I encountered any errors or bugs. 10/10 would recommend to literally anyone involved with AI.

### 5/5 — Super Helpful

*2026-03-16, version 1.0.68*

This app is extremely helpful! It’s completely free unless you want some optional features. Even then, it’s super cheap.

### 5/5 — Needs UI update

*2025-10-17, version 1.0.65*

When using a long model name, the sides of the chat get cut off so I can't press the send button

### 5/5 — Pretty good!

*2025-05-11, version 1.0.56*

Not gonna lie at first, the excessive prompting for a review on the App Store kinda annoyed me to give it a two out of five, but after actually using it using open AI and Gemini API With the capabilities of how easy and fast is this it is to set up an actual start using it is pretty good even comparing to the competition app on the android App Store so pretty good I’m astonished. I hope they continue being good.

### 5/5 — Awesome!!

*2025-04-28, version 1.0.56*

Awesome app. Access to GPT-4o, SearchGPT and tons of other premium AI models for FREE via PollinationAI

### 5/5 — Very good!

*2025-04-15*

Good app for chatting with AI models.

### 5/5 — Best Designed AI Chat Client for Mobile

*2025-04-07, version 1.0.53*

I’ve been using this app since it was in its beta testing phase, and I am continually impressed by the quality of the user interface and experience after each new update. I have no complaints, except for one tiny flaw that I hope you’ll consider fixing. The AI tends to produce fairly long responses especially when talking to it about technical information, and at times when Im reading through the AI’s response, i want to pick up on something they wrote mid response because it caught my attention or maybe sparked another idea, so when I have that spontaneous thought, I want to write it down or record it, so that the agent can respond to my question, but I also want to keep the agent on track and myself within a regulated and guided discussion, wherein there’s the flow of thoughts naturally through dialog, but the thoughts do not have to take away from the original guiding intent that the conversation started from. It’s not just on this app, but it’s working with LLMs in general, that I need to put a lot of my attention on formatting and engineering my response so that it keeps the agent in line while also being able to address my questions from time to time.

From a technical standpoint, as a developer myself, I would encourage you to look at how the auto scroll feature is implemented because when i come across something I want to respond to the AI mid conversation, I naturally go to pick up the (iOS) keyboard, but when I do that, it ends up automatically pulling the screen all the way to the end of the AI’s response, instead of keeping still at the place where I was still reading and had the idea to interject. And this has a disruptive effect on my flow and experience interfacing with the AI. I can understand why there are pros and cons to having the auto-scroll enabled, but perhaps you could add a setting choice that users can choose to toggle if they want to disable the auto scroll. Or, an even more ambitious idea would be to create a highlighting feature that allows users to annotate the AI response while reading it, which then can be sent to the AI to more fully align the AI’s understanding of my intent and processing logic of the information it is sending me.

On technical topics, I want to make sure I understand exactly what they’re trying to carry across, and it important in some circumstances that I am able to have a back and forth mid conversation in order to sus out the true meaning of the content the AI generated. And while being able to address peripheral information, I can still keep the conversation moving in the forward motion I intend the dialog to move. Incorporating a more full and robust dialogue between the human, who thinks differently than a machine, is a greatly important aspect of UI development, as these systems are not only pieces of technology, but they are integral components to an emerging culture of communication with artificial intelligence. Enhancing the human experience from the interface component is key for the AI to more effectively align with the user’s intent and core pursuit in the dialog. I love your app, it’s wonderful, and I appreciate your continued dedication and development.
