El palacio de la Aljafería es un edificio milenario fundamental para conocer la historia de Aragón. Ha sido residencia de los reyes musulmanes de la taifa de Saraqusta, de los reyes cristianos del reino y la Corona de Aragón, de los Reyes Católicos; pero también ha sido sede de la Inquisición y cuartel. Nuestros visitantes, cuando acceden al monumento, no solo se encuentran con las hermosas arquerías del palacio islámico, que contrastan con la imponente presencia de la torre del Trovador, la construcción más antigua del palacio, llamada así desde que fue el escenario para el drama romántico que Antonio García Gutiérrez escribió, titulado “El trovador”, sobre el que años después Giuseppe Verdi desarrolló una parte de la ópera Il Trovatore; sino que también los turistas recorren el palacio medieval de los Reyes de Aragón, con los alfarjes que cubren sus salas, o el impresionante Salón del Trono, encargado por los Reyes Católicos, con la espectacular techumbre de madera dorada y policromada. La Aljafería ha vivido diversos avatares, cambios y etapas. Aún recuerdan muchos aragoneses su condición de cuartel en el siglo XX. The app keeps trying to play ridiculous games even in the “adult” mode. You cannot rewind nor fast forward through the audio. Finally, all the “augmented reality” does is open your camera! ### 4/5 — Fun & Informative *2024-08-22, version 1.18* I guess the app has been updated since the other reviews as we found it informative and entertaining. The kids especially enjoyed the augmented reality. It did need to be restarted on occasion to get it to pick up the next room ### 1/5 — Your app to visit *2023-05-14* It is very frustrating to use your app to visit the palacio. Using the map to identify the location is very difficult and frustrating. All you need is a post in the room indicating which number the room is linked to. The numbers in the palace don’t correspond with the numbers on the map in the app, resulting in a frustrating experience. Save yourself the bother.
