Edit a visit after you've posted it Changed your mind about a photo, a dish, or a note? Open anything in your diary and edit it. Every change now saves together in one go, so an interrupted edit can't leave a visit half-updated. A map that reads at a glance Pins now show what a place actually is, with its cuisine and specialty reflected in the icon, and a gold disc for the places you've saved. Labels sit beside the pin and lead with the most useful thing we know about a place, and a new compact pin fills the gap between a plain dot and the full pin as you zoom. Search that gets you there faster One search surface for places and cities, now with real addresses so you can tell two similarly named spots apart, suggestions as you type, and a quicker jump between cities. Roomier Settings, Notifications and Activity Settings and Notifications open as full screens that slide over the map instead of cramped sheets. Activity is now a single list grouped by time, with your taste highlights up top. Better photos and video The media viewer opens on the photo you actually tapped, stops cropping your pictures to fill the screen, and frames video covers where the video really plays. Tap a place's name in the viewer to jump straight to it. Menus stay separate Places with more than one menu — dinner, drinks, brunch — no longer get blended together when you pick a dish. Fixes Photos no longer upload twice from a restored draft, and editing a post no longer deletes its own photos. We also fixed several crashes, audio not resuming after a video, pins flickering while you pan the map, and a few places where raw internal labels could show up in the app.
