## What is PaleoEarth Lite?

Earth is a dynamic planet. If anything has been constant throughout Earth history, it is its relentless state of flux -- from the ceaseless motion of tectonic plates to the ever-changing climate that eventually led to the birth of life itself to the steady bombardment of asteroids, some of which led to large-scale extinction events. PaleoEarth brings together a number of disparate data sets and provides a unique window into Earth's dynamic history. Key features include:

* Shows the motion of continental plates, subduction zones (where oceanic crust sinks into the Earth's mantle) and mid-ocean ridges (where new oceanic crust is created) over the last 50 million years.

* Shows sites of major asteroid impacts, tracing them from their original location at the time of impact to their current location, having been transported by the motion of tectonic plates.

* Shows how Earth's temperature and atmospheric co2 concentration compare to present-day values, over the last 50 million years.

* Traces the borders of a given country back in time, over the last 50 million years.

The paid version, PaleoEarth, goes back to 400 million years.

## Key features

- Continental plate motion visualization
- Asteroid impact tracking
- Earth temperature and CO2 comparison
- Historical country border tracing
- 50 million years of geological data

### 4/5 — I don’t know what to put for title

*2026-03-01*

I want to know why none of the continents changed and why the whole 2 American continents where not touching Africa

### 5/5 — VERY VERY FUN

*2025-10-23*

I love this game you made it is so much fun, but add panama to North America please, it look kinda weird. But still it is very fun, and needs an update

### 3/5 — Crash

*2024-11-24, version 1.20*

The game is great but whenever I open it it keeps crashing pls fix this bug

### 5/5 — VERY VERY FUN

*2024-11-05*

I love this game you made it is so much fun, but add panama to North America please, it look kinda weird. But still it is very fun.

### 5/5 — Pls add periods further back and forward

*2023-09-16*

I need periods further back and forward pls

### 5/5 — App interessante

*2021-06-02, version 1.20*

O app seria melhor se tivesse em português, o meu inglês não é tão bom assim... mas deu pra ver q o app é bem legal.

### 3/5 — Connect Central America to South America

*2021-03-13*

Connect Panama to Columbia please

**Developer response:** Thank you bubbamungi; well spotted! The maps were digitized on a coarse grid of points which has occasionally led to narrow slivers of land bridges being lost. It has been a balancing act maintaining fluidity of the user interface against finer resolution maps that degrade user experience. In our view, this small loss of accuracy is outweighed by the vastly improved user experience with the current resolution of the maps.

### 5/5 — What?

*2021-03-07, version 1.20*

What the?

### 5/5 — absolutely amazing!

*2020-12-27, version 1.20*

i honestly couldn’t believe such an app could exist. it is a very cool learning tool

### 4/5 — Good app

*2020-11-03*

It’s a very good app but some things have been left out. One you forgot to add Gondwana land. Two not all the continents were the same shape. Three you did it show the continent’s forming into the shape. Such as North America and South America India Africa and Antarctica and along with Greenland and the upper north of North America also can you add Pangea proxima the future continents of earth. Other than that the game is really good. I can use this for school to know more about how the plates came to the places they are today. Oh also one more thing you have to connect Central America. I mean it makes the app a little unrealistic because in reality Central America is connected to South America. Other then that very good app. I hope these suggestions make you guys improve your game :)
