I plan to return again in 6 months and was hoping this app would be a useful offline tool. After playing with it a bit, two big shortcomings are clear (at least for my purposes). The map itself only identifies main streets even when you zoom in all the way. The other thing that’s lacking is a search feature. You can’t, for example, enter an address and get walking or driving directions. It does highlight notable places in the city and provides interesting background info on each.
