Please give me a toilet guys. ### 4/5 — Easy to use *2023-10-31* This app is very easy to use and understandable, I love to create my own designs and this app has helped me create lots of unique ideas, HOWEVER, There is some problems with the have that has come to my attention, in my tablet I have little to no features to use while on my iPhone I have a lot of features to use EXPECT the ones the I have in my tablet. Wir haben bereits ein premium Monetarisierungsmodell überlegt. Sie können zwischen einem kleinen, mittleren und einem großen Abo wählen. Alle 3 Abo Stufen gibt es als monatliche oder jährliche Abos. Und alle Abos deaktivieren die Werbung. Das kleine Abo kostet nur 0.99€ pro Monat. Die App wird auch kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und verbessert, was man unschwer an der Update Historie einsehen kann. Really gutted. The app has zoomed in so you’re unable to work it as you can’t click on menu’s, objects or recent projects. How do you use the cloud option - there are no instructions it just asks you for a login that I don’t have? Would love to be able to access all my saved rooms from both devices, and also have the option to move furniture already sized in one room into another without having to redraw it. Die 3D Funktion setzt dem ganzen noch die Krone auf. Ich kenne die Vollversion von Palette CAD und ich muss sagen es ähnelt sich was die Qualität und Möglichkeiten angeht schon sehr. Das freut uns so was zu lesen. ### 5/5 — The Very Best *2020-07-21, version 4.1.103* After searching for a very long time for a mobile app that would let me design and customise my dream house/rooms and being very dissatisfied with the results, I stubmled upon this incredible app. Many of the apps that I had checked out had very limited resources and nearly all of them required the user to purchase the "full/pro" version to unlock many of the features of the app. I was coming to the end of my tether and then I found this. As soon as I started using it, I was extremely surprised by the quality and the controls. It's very self explanitory with a user friendly UI. Controls & Features: - In the 3D mode, by using a range of different pinch, drag and hold gestures, it allows the user to move forward, backward, sideways and to increase your viewing height up to a maximum of about 200cm and decrease it to a minimum of about 50cm which is extremely useful when viewing furniture and room layouts from different angles and levels. - The drag & drop feature for walls and furniture is also extremely useful and simple to get the grasp of. - The user is also given the ability to input measurement and distances from walls, which is much appreciated as an app feature. - There is also a freedom when changing the size of furniture, so objects that could often be too big to fit in a space can be altered in dimensions to allow them to be put into a smaller space while still having a limit for a more realistic approach. - Adding interior walls is great. You can change thicknesses, angles, widths and heights as well as being able to change the colour of the walls in 3D mode which is greatly appreciated. - The fact that things like mirrors and glass textures are in this app were very surprising to me, yet warmly welcomed. - The user can change the quality of the textures to allow the app to run better and according to the specs of their device. - A wide variety of floor, wall and ceiling textures is excellent and leaves the user with little restriction in terms of design. - Animated objects such as the pet 😂, taps and a lovely, calm sound design. The smaller QoL things are very nice. Suggestions for additional features and improvements: Some things I've noticed is that some design features could be implemented such as - Allow users to toggle object visibility. One of the issues that I find when including shelfs and objects underneath is that the object underneath can seldom be edited once another object that is wider and deeper than it has been placed above it. - The ability of locking the position of furniture and walls. A lot of the time when I'm attempting to pan the view, I end up accidentally draggin and dropping a wall or a piece of furniture accidentally. The undo button usually solves this, however there is a bug with the walls where even if you press the undo button, the wall will be angled between the original location and wherever it was accidentally moved too. - The hitboxes to click and edit the measurements are quite small and I usually end up having to click and hold them up to 6 times before it registers. I'd appreciate a function that allows the user to select between being able to click and hold or click it twice and also slightly increase the size of the hitbox for the measurements. - Add a togglable joystick in 3D mode for more ease of movement. - Allow walls to be customised like furniture colours can be. Though there is a range of colours and textures for walls, ceilings and floors, if the user were able to select a custom colour, that would be even better. - As I've seen in other reviews, the ability to add a carpet (which I have no doubt you guys are workig on), and also the ability to import custom textures too. - A click and drag or multiselect feature. This would allow the user to move multiple objects at once which would be very useful. - One of things I realised when I was using the Living Space profile is the lack of Bathtubs, Showers and Toilets under the Bathroom tab. I wanted to include an en-suite in my design, but all of the bathroom features are only accessible within the Bathroom profile. I don't doubt that this is a feature to the "PaletteHome Pro" profile, but I'm under the impression that this is only accessible by the app developers and testers who have been granted access. If all of the separate profiles could be merged into a single profiles with 3 sub-categories would be also appreciated. - A bug I've noticed with the mirror textures is that they can go black if an object with said texture is placed too close to a wall. - Another bug I've noticed is when a darker colour or texture is onscreen, the surrounded textures increase in brightness and intensity until they blend together into a white mess. This happens when a mirror is placed nearby a wall or some, black, dark grey or stone textures are used on walls, so I usually end up avoiding the use of dark colours on larger objects. A way to include both metric and imperial measurements as some other users have requested too (though a converter on google could also be used). - The implementation of a Cloud Save function for projects if users were able to sign up. This could open up to opportunity to export and import files across different devices. Conclusion: There are very minor amount of issues and I'm running this app off of a 5 year old iPhone 5s and it runs like a dream. Unlike the paid apps, the features are both for professional use and leisure and there are no in-app purchases at the moment which makes using this app absolute bliss. There are no pop-up ads either which makes me wonder how they profit off of such a phenominal app. I'm even more inclined to donate to this type of app as it seems that it's still in development and see a lot of potential with something like this. All in all, get this app it's already extremely good. And, thank you to the developers for creating such an amazing app, I can't wait to see what will be done with it in a few years time. ### 2/5 — Great if you down own a modern iPhone *2020-07-07, version 4.1.103* If you have the latest iPhone with a botched screen don’t bother. Most of the features are hidden behind and you can’t flip it to get to it. Just be glad we provide this app for free and don't charge you or pester you with advertisements like every other app in this category does. ### 1/5 — Has a mind of it’s own *2020-05-18, version 4.1.103* Someone wrote a review saying it was easy to use, not my experience 🤯😤got this to try rearranging a room in theory before practice because what I have in mind is a little unorthodox... took the measurements, should have written them down 🤦🏻‍♀️ luckily remembered them until I discovered the lock in feature... even worked out eventually how to put in corners, all’s well until the last wall.. it wants to add more walls than I have, can’t work out how to take them off because it’s not obvious and then the walls that were correct suddenly unlocked themselves and my room looks like some piece of modern art... I could have screamed... no worries it’s been backing up... my back ups wouldn’t come back and to add insult to injury I can’t start a new project or fine a home but to start again... I will go back to pen and paper and I will uninstall your dreadful app because that was the only way to reset it 😡 ### 1/5 — Keeps crashing *2020-05-09, version 4.1.103* Great idea with lots of design options but the app crashes all the time ### 1/5 — No Queen or King Size Beds *2020-05-06* Useless to plan bedrooms as it does not include queen or king size beds. **Developer response:** Hi. How big is a quenn or king size bed in the US? You can change the size of most beds in the furnishings->bedroom catalog. I just checked and most of them you can scale to a widht of 2,50m. If that is not enough we would have to update our furniture catalog. Please make sure you are using the "living profile" to plan bedrooms. You can change profiles by going into the options menu and selecting the profile manager. Update: I just checked US bed dimensions on the internet. You could even scale our double bed models to a "super king size" if you wanted to. When you've inserted the bed into the room just select the bed and tap "Size" in the context menu. More importantly, thank you for not tracking my data as this is nearly impossible to find in the App Store! It’s been very helpful to design rooms prior to decorating them. I was looking for an app to re-design my laundry room. Looked over many apps comments and difficulties seem to be pretty common. This developer actually fixes the difficulties that consumers have. what I have a hard time with is the consumers that download apps for free and have nothing but complaints! Any apps offer FREE TRIAS that expire and require a payment. This app developer downs do that and from the comments from the disgruntled consumers you would think they ruined your life! Giving 1 star because your iPad won’t change orientation…. GET REAL! I’ve looked over no less than 15 of these type apps and this one has the best consumer support! The world we live in today has mostly given people a sense of entitlement that has nothing to do with race. You read or view the news and all you see is people jumping on the race bandwagon for anything and everything. We have forgotten what life is actually about with humility. These people need to be humbled by the fact that they live in a world that is mainly free of public atrocities. I’m sure there are things that go on that would probably shock me, I served my country and can tell you that this world was much worse in the 17-1800 eras. I lost my point of it all back on the subject…. This app is easily used if you take baby steps in the beginning. Didn’t take much time, less than an hour, to figure it out & I am 30 years out of design school. I feel quite stupid though as I cannot find a bathtub nor can I find out how to resize doors & windows. It is probably there but I am tired and frustrated, and need to stop… but it really is superb and glad I found it. **Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review. If you can't find bathtubs, you are probably using the "living" or "stove" profile/catalog. You can switch profiles in the options menu. But please note, that every profile only sees the scenes that where saved with the same profile. So you won't be able to load a living room, when using the bath profile/catalog. But you can switch back at any time. We know this is annoying and we will change this in a future update. Also, you can resize doors, windows and furniture by double tapping on the object. But please note, there are quite a lot of objects that have the resizing feature deactivated, to prevent users from using unrealistic sizes. Und im Gegensatz zu diversen anderen, derartigen Apps ist das Ding absolut „Hinrkompatibel“, es funktioniert so wie man es erwartet. Ich habe dann auch gleich das Miniabo für 99ct/Monat abgeschlossen um hier ein bisschen „zurückzugeben“ Jetzt noch ein bisschen konstruktive Kritik: Warum ist die Skalierung der Objekte oft eingeschränkt? Wenn man einen simplen Tisch nicht auf unter 1,2 m oder über 2 m skalieren kann ist das etwas lästig. Ich habe aus den Tischen diverse Winkelkombinationen mit eigenwilligen Maßen gebaut, da musste ich die Kollisionserkennung ausschalten und die Dinger ineinanderschieben um auf die benötigten Maße zu kommen. Auch Schränke sind oft größer oder kleiner als es die Einstellungen erlauben. Eingabe von Maßwerten: eine numerische Eingabemöglichkeit zusätzlich wäre ein Traum! Mit dem Stift auf dem iPad geht das so leidlich, aber mit meinen Fingern…. Die „Verriegelung“ der Wandmaße funktioniert bei mir nicht. Jetzt die Kür: Kombinieren von Objekten, um diese dann gemeinsam verschieben oder kopieren zu können. Dann könnte man sich aus den generischen Objekten coole Möbelstücke bauen. (Und wenn man die dann noch in einen eigenen Katalog packen kann!) Heizkörper sitzen bei mir in einer Nische unter dem Fenster - für die Optik wäre das super. Und zu guter letzt: Kann mal jemand die Katze füttern? Die ist arg dürr. ;-))) Ansonsten: Daumen hoch! We’ve discovered that Palette Home, by far, is the easiest and most intuitive app out there! Super easy to make changes, and because of that, the whole process is fun! And, because it includes a nice amount of furnishings and interior fittings to choose from, our 3D view is very close to our vision for this room. I would say that the ability to pop in easily-sized windows and doors is just one of the best features of Palette home. Our family room design has been a long, frustrating process until we discovered Palette Home. Congratulations to the developers for this fine designing app! ### 5/5 — Perfect *2021-02-18* This app is exactly what I was looking for - I'm remodeling my room and am so excited to design and see if all my pieces fit, but I'm still painting! This app let me put all my pieces in with accurate dimensions and placement. I was able to put the measurements of windows and doors perfectly. Also their little details with photos, laptops, plants and small decorative items was perfect. Glad I found this! I just google search for a metric to feet conversion (fine with me until the app is updated.). Doesn’t deserve all the poor ratings...... Only bummer is...this is room design - I wish they had one for building houses - this app would be perfect to make a floor plan, 3D view, walkthrough, side views, etc. but alas it is not to be. Maybe some day.... (all the other apps just want money money money. At least just $5 or $10 one time...fine. But subscriptions? $100 a year for an app?
