Palette is a tool to help people share and discover music by their mood. The goal is to help users create diverse playlists by replacing the idea that songs should be classified by genre with the idea that songs should be classified by the mood that the user sees fit. However, I have a few suggestions (I’m not sure how many of these are feasible). When navigating through the app, being able to leave music playing would be very nice. Along the same note, it would be great if music could play when the user leaves the app. Being able to queue songs to play one after the other would be nice. Also, just playing the mood and not having to select songs individually would help to make it easier to use. In general, moving towards an app you could use in the background and knit-pick songs you enjoy would be my ideal app. I don’t know if this is the direction the developer wants to go in, but it’s just my opinion. Once again, I’m not sure how much of this is possible. This was an excellent first release, and I look forwards to seeing the app move forward!
