Great tool to use for keeping you in a rhythm on your inspections. Wish it would have an invoice client option and a video recording option. Dominic Castellano is hands down The Best “help desk” I.T. Professional I’ve ever worked with. He handles my questions and issues professionally and quickly....no matter how inane they might be. There’s NEVER any condescension (believe me that’s unusual) he just guides me through my problem and moves on. He’s very much an asset to Palm Tech. Whenever I’m asked by other inspectors what program I use I always add to the recommendation that “they have the BEST help desk out there.” Thanks KT ### 1/5 — Horrible *2019-10-21, version 8.16.02* This is hands down the worst inspection software I have utilized. You can only upload one photo at a time, it’s extremely confusing to any level of computer savvy user, it does not work well with MAC / APPLE users (you have to buy an additional program). They also only offer a 30 day refund window because it takes months to even be a novice user of their program. It’s a hot pile of garbage. ### 5/5 — Inspection Sofrware *2019-09-15, version 8.16.02* This is by far the easiest software with the most features for the money. I’ve been using Palm-Tech for almost twenty years and it’s never failed me.... ### 5/5 — Best Home Inspection software *2019-08-24, version 8.16.02* I’ve been a home inspector for 26 yrs. I’ve used an old generic software for my reports. Very time consuming. A few of my competitors use Palm Tech. So I researched them. Palm tech is very customizable. It took me awhile to customize to my specs. Online tutorials are very helpful! I now have my night and weekends free of typing reports! Very easy to use. I am using an iPad on Inspections. I can take photos with my iPhone and easily air drop pics into report so I don’t have to carry my iPad in attic, crawl spaces or roofs! This software has been a life saver for me. Highly recommended ### 4/5 — Ease of use, tech support Bankers hours *2018-07-26, version 8.16.02* I like the soft wear but hate the support. Early on I had a question at 505 on a Friday afternoon and could not get ahold of anybody till Mon 9 am, very frustrating!!!! Updated to version 8. There are some great improvements and one big frustration!! In version 7 once you took a pic using an I pad you could use your finger to make an arrow on the picture, a mark up. Now in version 8 you have to hit an icon at bottom of screen go to another page and make your arrow. I put an average of 20 pictures in my report average 12-15 reports a week. Do the math a lot of unnecessary back and forth!! I do mot consider this an upgrade!! ### 3/5 — Overall a good program. Needs improvements! *2018-03-08, version 8.14.07* There should be a way to customize the reports from the app, like on a IPad or phone. You shouldn’t be limited to making those kind of changes on a PC. Speaking of PC the program is not supported on a MAC computer. Software that is not available on the both of the largest platforms is ridiculous and outdated. If there was a way to transfer the entered general information page to a database for business tracking and promotional purposes then it might be closer to NspectPro. I sure wish the company would make these updates. If they did, it would be nearly impossible for other companies to get even close to this program, but..... ### 5/5 — Like it, LIKE IT A LOT *2017-12-03, version 8.14.07* Makes the inspection move along smoothly without a hitch. Love the drop down to add comment and info with just a click. ### 5/5 — Historical preference *2017-11-29, version 8.14.07* 2017 is the end of my 29th year of inspecting homes. When digital inspection software became the norm I chose Palm-Tech because of the advanced software and customer service. Palm-Tech remains my choice as this part of the inspection business has changed greatly over the past 10 years and they continues to make improvements - I frequently test competitive apps but they are best in the industry. V8 is a winner. ### 5/5 — Best Inspection software *2017-11-17, version 8.14.03* I did extensive research before I purchased Pal Tech. I spoke with two home inspectors using Palm Tech. They highly recommended it and I have not been disappointed. Their tech support is top shelf. Courteous and knowledgeable staff that are always able to resolve my user issues. I been using the software for three years now and would highly recommend it to a new inspector or one with years of experience. The reports give customers an easy to read document that serves as the best advertisement for my company. The customizable comments have reduced inspection time from my initial start-up. The company and their product is a Porsche or Mercedes in a field of Fords and Chevys. Not that I drive either of the first two. Look no further.
