The app is cluttered with a load of nonsense that I doubt most customers care about. I’m guessing they’ve contracted out the app development which would explain the generally poor, disjointed and redundant pages within it. There’s gotta be a 3rd party service, like Wix, for businesses to easily make their own app. I’m guessing it’d be both cheaper and better. ### 1/5 — Does not work on iPhone 13 Pro Max *2025-08-03, version 2.1.04* Requires quitting and opening multiple times to get past initial loading screen. My app orders are constantly not sent to the location, so I’m not “skipping the line” in fact, it takes longer to argue with the workers that I already freaking paid than it would to wait in line. Today I couldn’t even attempt to order through the app, it sent me through an endless loop of “must log in” so I log in, add to cart, go to order then I get “sorry, your session has expired” and the cycle starts all over again. When I arrived at the pick up time the order was not only not available but no one at the store could find record of it. And I had poor cellular service so could not pull up my order. I finally got my order to load after wandering around the parking lot looking for a better connection and finally could “prove” I had a real order. The whole thing was a massive headache and took an extra 20-30m that I didn’t have…. ### 3/5 — Amazing Bowls, Lackluster Rewards *2023-04-01* Literally the best açaí bowls I’ve ever had in my life and I love eating here as much as I can. I just wish there was a more robust rewards program so regular customers can be more incentivized to continue to come back and refer others. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Unreasonably bad *2026-03-02* I’ve never written an app review before. But I just want to make clear to Palmetto - your app is painfully bad to the point it’s almost unusable. No Apple Pay option? Crashes all the time and gets stuck loading. I’ve only tried to order through this twice and I honestly think calling the store to order ahead of time or just order in person and wait 10 minutes is easier and would still save more time than trying to use this app. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2026-02-13, version 2.2.02* App says there’s been a pending order on my account since November. Just wish they fixed the app. Many times I’ve ordered through the app with the stores claiming they didn’t receive it even though my card was charged. They make it but have to wait even longer once getting to the store. So please Palmetto, fix your app and I’ll change this review to 5 stars, the app itself is 1 star. ### 1/5 — Regularly broken dining app *2025-11-16* It’s amazing to me how bad this app is for a store that actually serves good açaí bowls. And I don’t mean the UI. Basic functionality doesn’t work. Deleting and reinstalling the app didn’t help. The app now shows the “in progress” wheel spinning for an order I made 2 months ago. This makes it impossible to make a new order. When I tried to order last week, the store I sent the order to didn’t get my order. I bought a gift card today and I’m unable to add it to the wallet section in the app. I still want to use this app to order ahead of time but looks like I can’t do this any more. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t load *2025-10-20, version 2.1.08* Just a black screen with white loading bar ### 1/5 — It’s down again *2025-09-25* I typically have to restart this app a couple times before I’m finally able to get into place an order. I stare at a blank screen with a white bar, running along the bottom for quite a while. i’ve had bugs where the purchase doesn’t go through only to find it went through twice. Today, I’m not able to get in at all. I couldn’t find anywhere in the app or on the site to leave feedback so I’m leaving it here. We love Palmetto and we visit every week, but it’s always a struggle to place the order. I also enjoy that you don’t get the confirmation of your order being ready until the evening or next day. But the staff is always fast and it’s ready or almost ready when I get there. another major bug I wish they’d watch out for is that the quantity selection doesn’t work. If you go through the flow and customize a bowl and change the quantity to two and add it to your cart it will only add one to your cart. You have to edit the cart to change the quantity.
