Never had problems using it . I only send faxes though so I don’t know how they are when receiving faxes . ### 2/5 — Good, but improvements needed *2017-11-28, version 3.1.3* Like free offer with signup. Offer should specify that you are given three free pages, not lead you to believe you are getting three free faxes. App is glitchy on iPhone 7; views of your document pages will not load. Developer should offer other ways to get free faxes, or have a free fax option for accounts using under a certain amount of faxes per month. ### 2/5 — No preview, quirky *2017-07-09, version 3.1.3* I just tried to send a fax. First, it will not show a preview of my doc. It says it will, but it doesn't. So I delete doc and start over. Next, when I say I do not want a cover page and press continue, the app moves to the details page for the briefest of moments, then back to the cover page. I don't have time to mess around with an app that has so many bugs. I just want to take care of business and get along to other things. Too bad, because many other reviewers seem to like this app. It is deleted from my iPad. ### 4/5 — Aleksei *2017-06-30, version 3.1.3* I sent a fax and it's great apps !! But while my sending I don't saw what I sent, the apps doesn't show me picture of my document. By after I log in into my profile and found right picture in my sent folder - looks like all works !! Am I doing something wrong? Love everything else and have recommended to colleagues! ### 3/5 — Dropbox issues *2016-06-01* If you search for a pdf file to send from your dropbox storage, the app only has files shown from when you initially entered the logon information to link dropbox to pamfax. It doesn't update whats new in your dropbox. So you have to unlink dropbox and then relink it. B *2015-12-11, version 3.1.3* Short version: Doesn't work (both the app and the desktop client - the web portal is some what reliable), Hard to log in, Extra hidden charges. If they say a number is known to be slow they charge $0.63 per page! Decided to use this to try and save having from having a fax line for my business. Huge mistake. I was hoping they'd grown on me. I just hate them more. They have a lot of numbers they say "are know to be slow or unresponsive" and they charge substantially higher rates if your fax is for one of those (they don't advertise that well). They will fail to send faxes to these slow numbers multiple times and although they refund a small portion of the original cost it can average out to you losing twenty extra cents per page in addition to their normal rates. I've faxed a lot of numbers before and I've never had problems faxing dedicated fax lines before. If you don't deal with BCBS, Medicare, United, Cigna or other health insurance related business your experience may be different from mine. If you number was previously used by another company you'll get tons of faxes(invoices) from their former business partners. This isn't charged to you but is a pain to deal with. Just trying to login is actually awful. Your password must be so many characters with at least 2 special characters and numbers. But they won't communicate that to you upfront. So if you forget to pick a password like that, you'll have to go back to the beginning because the previous pages have expired. It can take me 5-10 minutes just to log in. ### 1/5 — What I need *2015-02-05, version 3.1.0* I found this app because I need to receive a fax. But apparently you need to already have a fax number of your own. ### 1/5 — Doesn't work on iOS 8 *2014-09-26* This app worked very well before the update. The PamFax charged me $0.09 even when PamFax encountered an error during transmission. I want my remaining balance (credit) back and there’s no documentation on how to get my unused credit. This used to be a good tool but it’s not working for me. I need my money back. ### 1/5 — App not working *2023-03-10* App no longer works under current version of iOS ### 1/5 — Not working well *2022-10-09, version 3.1.3* Had to send few faxes and tried the program (not the free one) it just doesn’t work well. Most time it will not send and when you do resend it will charge again your account. Just going through the frustration doesn’t worth it. Stay away from this software and look elsewhere. The reason it is cheap it is not working when you need it. Trying to get refund for the money I spen to refill the account is just waste of time like this app. Rip off app. ### 1/5 — Fax service is good. I had to buy more credits (no problem) I have $11.73 in credits. Keep saying the line hung up the whole time I been trying to send. Now that I tried numerous times it’s busy now. I was inside my house thinking maybe it’s the service inside there nope, I came outside to resend it and same thing. It was quite convenient. The only problem was that you weren’t able to add credit from the app. You had to go to the website to do that. However, I have had the occasional need to send faxes maybe 2 or 3 times semiannually. And because you were so straight forward with doing what your description said in providing three free pages, I will certainly buy credits as I don't like to be lied to with first downloading the app, preparing the document, and finally thinking I am able to send, all with then being hit with the most heart aching lie with made to purchase credits when the app descriptive properties clearly state and make the consumer assume is free at first. So, again, THANK YOU for your up front honesty as you will be rewarded by my service! Also, do not beware of this app, the reason the other guys app crashed is because he most likely selected the ad contact option if you have a lot of contacts that will crash the app. However, you can avoid that and simply type in your contacts. The app then have to upload the document that you put in and it simply takes just a little bit more time but absolutely functions and works as described!!! I snapped a photo of the document, I was able to fax it all without ever having to touch a scanner or even a scanning app. I read somebody else's review about a sketchy EULA, Which definitely bear some investigation and may change my opinion, but this worked pretty flawlessly from the tech point of view!!! ### 5/5 — Simple and amazing *2014-12-04* Whole service is very reliable.
