Absolutely love the questions, the explanations, and the easy at having thousands of questions at my finger tips. But! It’s bogus because I got a new phone recently, I was then locked out of my account. It’s been a week, I’ve emailed support everyday and still locked out. Emailed support is used loosely also, you have to go to the website and fill out a “contact us” form, which I’m guessing goes to nobody since I still have not heard from “support”. Can’t even re purchase because it’s says I already have an account, even trying with a new email does not allow me. Very upset about that.

The questions and explanations are great, love that part of it. I understand the need to make sure every student pays their $70 for the service but I have multiple devices, and logging into my iPad results in an immediate ban? That seems outlandish. Definitely need to fix this problem.

The content is AMAZING! But the app needs major updates. Several reviews have said the same thing but the developer hasn’t responded. We need to be able to click subcategories and there needs to be a better option for selecting how many questions we want to select for each session. Doing several hundreds of questions in one sitting is unrealistic. Again love the app but make it more realistic for small study sessions.

Paid $70 for an app that locks me out constantly. Rules are to make sure your logged out of your iPhone if you are going to open on another app…however still locks you out and you have to wait for someone to unlock you account. So frustrating to have paid for this service and not be able to use it

Just purchased today and started answering questions. The questions are helpful and well written. However, DO NOT sign in on more than one device (I was using my iPhone/iPad) because you will be blocked for copyright violation and told to email their support team. Expensive subscription to not be able to use on all my apple devices- which are connected to the same Apple ID!

For some reasons, the app logged me out for the first time in over a year, and I could not log back in. Every time I tried to do so, it asked for a new subscription which mine is not due till December 2021. Please help me fix it.

Locks me out every time I use it and says that I have it running on multiple devices. I also have an iPad that I use it on. So every time I switch between them, it locks me out and I have to contact their customer service. Waste of $70. Avoid. Just pay for Rosh.

Bought the app upgrade was using it just fine until I got a new phone. It continually tells me my username is connected to a different account & will not allow me to login. It also won’t let me even buy it over again. Mind you I got this less than a month ago. What a disappointment.

I love the new edition of PPP. However, I have to use the app under my friends login because while customer service (and Dwayne) tried to help me very briefly via email, I was never followed up with despite multiple attempts to reach out to the team. Issue: I payed full price to subscribe and every time I log on the app, it asks me to subscribe again as if I never did.

 (Btw, this was a year ago and still is an issue when trying to use the app. Not even bothering to try getting my money back because I feel that may be tedious and pointless as well)

I loved this app until I got kicked out and now I am not able to log back in. No matter what username I use it will not let me back into the app. A waste of 70 dollars. Worst part there is no contact information to get some help with getting back into the app.

This app had me excited because I love the Pance Prep Pearls book, so I expected to feel the same way about the app. I don’t. There are over 11,000 questions in this app - they are split up into sections with some sections containing over 1,000 questions. This would be awesome if there was a way to select sub sections within each over all section (e.g. congenital heart diseases within the cardio section, or antibiotics within the pharm section) but there isn’t. You choose the amount of questions you want and it spits some random ones out at you. This might be helpful if you have infinite free time but it’s not practical for studying a specific subject.

Content was useful for the short period I was able to use the app. Login can only be used on one device and account will be blocked if you use on another personal device you own. Customer service is poor with no reply or resolution of account being unblocked.

This app needs A LOT of work. I wanted to use my ipad to see the questions in a bigger screen instead of my phone and ended up getting locked out, even when I’m under the same iOs account. I also don’t like that you can’t set the number of questions you want or categorize the topics. I hope they make these changes soon.

I recently got logged out of my account and was told to contact via the website and haven’t heard anything back (I’ve sent multiple emails) and spent 70 dollars on it and had it for a couple days. I didn’t know you couldn’t put the app on multiple devices and that’s is what happened to get me blocked I think I have since deleted on my phone but still do not have any access.

I ordered it through the App Store, paid the fee, but it’s stuck on the loading screen. Reached out by email 1 week ago and have not gotten any reply. I’ll update review if something changes, but don’t pay for something that doesn’t work.

I keep getting lock out of the app and redirected to the subscription page. I’ve been in contact with costumer support but they can’t figure it out. They just keep creating new login information for me but it has t fixed the problem. When I pay that much money for an app I expect to be able to access its content. Super frustrating.

I recently just subscribed and bought the 1-year subscription for $70. 

However, the moment it finished accepting my patient, the app did not change. Instead it said “Network Connection Lost” and then asked me to pay AGAIN. 

I checked my email for confirmation of payment AND confirmation of signed up account. Both emails came in saying I have SUCCESSFULLY made an account and SUCCESSFULLY submitted payment. I checked my personal Subscription in my Apple Accoint as well and yep! I already paid. Yet the app said I did “not pay”. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! As a one last attempt, I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Nothing. 

Shame on you guys.

I had the app for less than a month and was locked out of my account multiple times. Eventually I gave up on the app after reaching out to customer service multiple times and receiving responses from Eli that made it clear they had not actually read my emails or tried to understand the issue I was having with the app (constant lockouts when switching between devices even after logging out of one device before switching to the other). They’re so worried about account sharing that they have made the app restrictive to the point of frustration.

Pro tip: Rosh review costs 279 but does not restrict your logins to one device (you can share an account with others, although I personally prefer not to in order to take advantage their performance analysis). Overall I found the Rosh to be a higher quality app and much more user friendly than PANCE Prep.

This app is a scam. It never gives you access to the content during the free trial or during the actual membership, which they will charge you for automatically. Reached out to apple for a refund. Haven’t heard back.

The developers are so paranoid about app usage you get locked out constantly and have to wait for someone to unlock your account. Worst app I have ever purchased by a long shot with respect to this issue. It’s al about money. Don’t waste your time as you will run into the same thing

I’ve had my acct for less than 24 hrs and they deactivated it, saying I needed to contact admin, but didn’t give me away to do that..... I wanted to switch to my iPad instead of my iPhone, because I suffer from double vision (I’m still learning my limits with it and I have chromatic aberration from my thick prism lens), and I need the screen to be bigger. How do I contact admin to reactivate my acct OR get a refund? I’m very upset about this.

Update: corrected after emailing through their website.

FYI: you must “officially” log out from one device before logging in from another.

The PPP books have been my PA school bible. This app helps me solidify my knowledge and is great practice before exams. I had problems signing in and subscribing and called the support team and they walked me through the steps to get me going - so helpful!! Definitely a necessity for anyone in PA school.

This app is amazing.  Prior to using this app I failed the PANCE twice and a friend told me they passed using this so told me what did I have to lose? Ended up I had everything to gain.  Let me tell you why I credit this app for passing.  TUTOR MODE - Having the clue and the breakdown for how I should be thinking helped me hone that so much better.  There were times I had the right answer for the wrong reason and I learned so much. 2. The explanations not only explained but also gave some strategies or useful mnemonics or exam tips.  3. The photos help things to stick.  There were things like thickened basement membrane I would memorize but when I saw it or the breakdown it helped it stick better. 4. The charts that compare and contrast similar disease that would often trip me up until I started using the app.  And even the pearls because I felt Dwayne went further into explanation of things that trying to fit on the page of a book didn’t allow him to so it gave even stuff in PPP a fresh new perspective.  Honestly I would have never passed the third time around with out this app.  And with over 10,000 questions how could u lose? I won BIG TIME!

As I live in NYC and trying to study on the train during rush hour can be impossible unless you have a handy app like this one on your phone:)

Many more questions than other prominent PANCE apps.  I had a small technical problem since I am not so technically savvy and could not see the question explanation. However a quick email to Dwayne and his developer, Eli, and I received the tutorial I needed to navigate the app! Such great customer support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

I would highly recommend this app. Not just for the PANCE but for all of those lovely end of rotation exams! Thank you Dwayne and Eli!

Great app with excellent content. It's an awesome addition to having the PPP books to supplement my studying for my upcoming PANCE. It's added to my motivation to study. Customer service and IT is exemplary, very personable and professional. I contacted them for help in resolving an issue. IT stayed with me on the phone while troubleshooting until he made sure my problem was resolved and worked not only on my phone but also my tablet (which I didn't even consider), in a short time my issue was pretty easily resolved.

This app is amazing.  I used it to take my clinical medical exams and I scored the highest I have ever and I know it is because I have been using this app consistently.  Using the pearls feature to read about the disease in the app is golden because I don’t even have to open up a book while I am in the app.  I love the bonus questions for each question.  Guys keep up the great work and great content!! I am a FAN FOR LIFE!!!
