## What is Pancreatic Cancer Action?

As a leading pancreatic cancer charity who works with people diagnosed with
this condition on a daily basis, we know how important it is that patients can
have control over their own diagnosis. We wanted to help people manage
their condition and give them an opportunity to learn about what has worked
best for other people in a similar situation.

This app provides pancreatic cancer patients and their carers (friends and family)
with a way to record and track important information about their condition and
helps them manage their daily routines.

Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity that specifically focuses on
improving pancreatic cancer survival rates through early diagnosis in everything
we do.

Currently there are almost 10,000 people newly diagnosed a year with
pancreatic cancer in the UK. Our mission is to improve survival rates of
pancreatic cancer by ensuring more people are diagnosed early and in time for
surgery – currently the only potential for a cure – and improve the quality of life
for patients.
