## What is Panda Calendar?

A simple and easy-to-use calendar app.
From checking your schedule and the weather forecast to managing your daily to-dos, this one app keeps your everyday planning in one place.

EVENTS
• Shows the calendars already set up on your iPhone. Google, iCloud, Exchange — whatever is in iOS Settings appears automatically, with no extra sign-in.
• Create, edit and delete events straight from the month view.
• Create an event with your voice. Speech becomes text on the device; no recording is uploaded.
• Repeating events, the day's to-dos, and a color for each calendar.
• Start the week on Sunday, Monday or Saturday.
• Make a new calendar and share it with family or friends, and manage who has access (sharing is for Google calendars, and it is the one feature that asks you to sign in to Google).

WEATHER
• Weather for a city you choose, laid out inside the month view.
• A line graph of temperature and rainfall across a single day (Apple Weather).

HOLIDAYS AND WORLD CALENDARS
• Subscribe to the public holiday calendar of any country. Holiday names are translated into your own language for supported combinations.
• Put a traditional calendar or almanac marker under each date.

Supported calendars & almanac markers:
Persian, Afghan, Bikram Sambat (Nepal), Hijri (Islamic), Hebrew, Ethiopian, Rokuyo, 24 Solar Terms, Son-eomneun-nal, Myanmar, Yatyaza / Pyathada, Thai Buddhist, Panchang (Hindu Tithi)

STAMPS
• Put a picture stamp on an event — plants and animals, sports, vehicles and more — so you can tell at a glance whose event it is, or what kind it is (Premium).

ON YOUR OTHER SCREENS
• Five Home Screen widgets: month (large, medium), today's events (medium, small), next event.
• An Apple Watch app with the day's events, the weather graph and the panda.

AND THE PANDA
Every so often a small panda walks across the calendar screen. Stroke it with a finger and it answers back, and it grows the more you use the app. It is the one thing here that isn't practical — and you can switch the walking off in the settings.

LANGUAGES
Follows the language set on your device, right-to-left scripts included.

Supports 60 languages:
Amharic, Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bengali, Burmese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional - Hong Kong), Chinese (Traditional - Taiwan), Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Gujarati, Hausa, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Igbo, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kabyle, Kannada, Kazakh, Korean, Kurdish (Kurmanji), Kurdish (Sorani), Malay, Marathi, Nepali, Norwegian, Oromo, Pashto, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazil), Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Sindhi, Slovak, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Uzbek, Vietnamese, Yoruba

PREMIUM (IN-APP PURCHASE)
A one-time purchase removes ads and unlocks Week view, Day view and Stamps. You can also try them for a while by watching an ad.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.3 — 2026-08-31

The rollable panda is finished. Drag your finger away from the panda and it rolls that way: forward rolls, backward rolls, and sideways like a log. Flick towards its head and it rises into a handstand; flick towards its tail and it throws a backflip; flick sideways while it is sitting up and waving and it turns a cartwheel. Pick it in Settings under Panda.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-28

New: a rollable panda. Drag your finger away from the panda and it rolls that way — forward, backward or sideways. Stop at just the right spot and it will do a handstand or a backflip. Pick it in Settings under Panda. It is still being built, so the moves will keep changing.
Fixed: holiday names were not translated in some languages for some countries.
Fixed: if you had granted "Add Events Only" calendar access, the app could not create events at all. It now works with that permission.

### 1.1 — 2026-08-17

Fixed: tapping "Watch Ad" in Premium Features did nothing, so an ad could never be watched. Watching an ad now unlocks Week/Day view and Stamps for a while.

If a Google calendar shared with you never appears in the app, the app now explains why and offers a button that opens Google's sync settings.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-11

No release notes.
