### 5/5 — WOnderful!!

*2012-10-04, version 1.4*

This app is wonderful for both verbal and non verbal autistic children. When my daughter (who is verbal) has one of her "meltdowns" it is good for her to continue to do what she needs to do.. I can even make one for her to use to calm herself down. Will definately reccommend this app for other families. Thank you for creating an app such as this to help all parents of Autistic and special needs children!!

### 5/5 — WOW a detailed AAC app that's easy to use!

*2012-10-04, version 1.4*

I have tried and tested several AAC apps and most leave me confused. As a parent, I wonder, " How will I teach my child with autism how to use this?" Panda Pal AAC is actually easy to operate and it's customizable. You can add pics and audio that your kids will recognize. I think it's easy enough for a parent but detailed enough for an educator or therapist. Great job!

### 5/5 — Great AAC app!

*2012-10-04, version 1.4*

This app is actually 3 apps for the price of one. It's a visual schedule builder, first then board, and an AAC app all in one. If your student/child is very visual and can make multiple level choices in a communication app, this might be the app of choice for you! If you had this app on an iPad that will go between home and school, it could potentially used as a stand alone communication device.

One can create clear visual schedules that can be saved. When the schedule changes, it's easy to modify the schedule by moving the activities into a different order, adding a new activity or deleting an activity.

The first then board will be a helpful when positive behavior support is needed. One can save the boards and return to them later. They are easily edited as well.

Last, but not least, this app can be used as an alternative augmentative communication device on your iPad. It's easy to customize with your own pictures and voice. Frequently used requests/statements can be saved for repeated use. You can have 2 to 24 icons with custom font size and color on each page.

I like the ability to set the "touch and hold" feature to prevent accidental activation of unwanted icons.

This is a very affordable option for AAC! One of a handful of app options I will use when trialing different AAC apps/devices during AT and AAC evaluations.

### 4/5 — Great Affordable App!

*2012-10-04, version 1.4*

This app is a great tool and is fairly easy to use, but some written directions would make it even easier for those new to the PECS system. I like the fact that you can add your own voice & pictures to make it completely relatable to the person using it. This app is wonderful for scheduling and If...then situations. Looking forward to seeing this app used regularly with my son and for the updates that will make this great app even better!

### 5/5 — affordable and great

*2012-10-03, version 1.4*

this is a great app to give someone a voice. it's easy to use and customize. it comes preloaded but also allows for your own pics and voice. love the first then capabilities as well. another great Panda Pal app!

### 4/5 — Versatile AAC app

*2012-10-03, version 1.4*

This is a very versatile and affordable AAC app. Not only can it be used for communication, but it also functions as a visual schedule and a first then board. There is already a built in collection of photos, but if you need something different, you can easily customize it by adding your own photos and choosing button sizes that fit your needs. The press and hold feature is great for people who tend to accidentally hit unintended buttons due to fine motor issues.

### 5/5 — PandaPal has done it again!

*2012-10-03, version 1.4*

This is a wonderful App for children with special needs. I love the PECS system including scheduling and first, then sequencing. I also enjoy the fact that you can add your own pictures and voice. Overall, love this App as well as the other PandaPal Apps!

### 4/5 — Great Communication Tool

*2012-10-03, version 1.4*

This little app is an affordable route to giving some one a voice. I'm looking forward to seeing where it will take my students. I can see using it as a work tool on the job for non-verbal adults.

### 4/5 — Great!

*2012-10-02, version 1.4*

This app has a wide variety of pictures with the capability to add your own to really customize a communication system! The first...then feature is great and can be used with many students. Although it is fairly easy to navigate and set up, some written instructions for those not accustomed to these kinds of systems would be helpful.

### 5/5 — Great all-in-one app!

*2012-10-02*

What a great all in one app! This app is fully customizable with capabilities to add your own pictures and voice recordings. I especially like how settings can be password protected to keep them from being accidentally changed. Also in the settings is the ability to change size of icons, font formats (color, size, type, etc) which allow the parent/teacher to customize it based on the needs and ability levels of their children. The voice included is pleasing and not robotic, which is nice. The pictures are of real world objects, not drawings of objects which makes it more meaningful for the child to use. I can't wait to try this out with some students tomorrow!

### 1/5 — Unable to get Panda Pal to open

*2019-11-06, version 1.5*

I was very excited as a SLP to use this with my students who have autism but I am unable to get the app to open. I was able to register it but that is as far as I could get. I have an updated 2016 IPad and the app info says it should work. Please fix, as I would really like to try it.

### 1/5 — Crashing?

*2018-12-17, version 1.5*

I’m a SLP and just downloaded this app to try with one of my students. I like the layout and was adjusting the settings to get a feel for it. The app then crashed and every time I try, it will not reopen. I restarted my iPad hoping that would help but it hasn’t. I tried to email you directly via app support but the link didn’t work.

### 2/5 — Great features but no SEARCH function :( 4 stars with that added

*2019-01-01, version 1.5*

I picked this up for FREE and was surprised at all the great features, options (a first-then and schedule option!!) and customization of icon sizes, color etc. I also like the history feature where a user's utterances, or even past first-then boards, or schedules, can be pulled up for use again, along with info a helper can edit to include whether the utterance was independent, or prompted-that is a unique feature. One MAJOR glaring error though-which means I sadly won't be using it because it is not convenient the way it is currently set up- there is no SEARCH function to make it easy to quickly add photos on the fly with the schedule and first-then options-two features which really make this app awesome, as everything is all in one place. Right now you have to scroll through all the existing icons to the bottom, where the icons you save go... If you add a search feature I would definitely recommend this to those who want an all-in-one communication set up, and are willing to put in the time to customize it with their own vocabulary.

### 3/5 — Panda pal

*2019-01-22, version 1.5*

This app is so stupid because it keeps closing on me when I am trying to open it

### 4/5 — Great combination app!

*2012-10-24, version 1.4*

This is a great combination app. Very nice to have the schedule, AAC, and first/then all use same icon/pictures. Seems so logical but no other company has done this. I have found it very confusing for my son to not have the same pics in apps and usually dump my least favorite and try to find ones where I can change all the icons/photos. Very nicely done.

### 4/5 — Real Life and easy to use

*2012-10-10, version 1.4*

Wonderful real life photos with a loveable Panda Pal in this easy to use ACC app. Lots of categories to choose from and easy to add/delete items. Sign language as well for those non-verbal who think on that wavelength.

The app has a pleasant voice that will repeat the PEC choosen. I love the search option as well, very easy to use.

A+ to this developer

### 4/5 — Great App!

*2012-10-06, version 1.4*

One of the things I love most about this app are the realistic pictures and especially the feelings. I have a hard time figuring out what a sad face drawing is compared to scared, so it was refresshing to see a real person. I also love that there are ques to help those that need it, a nice addition to any app! Another great addition is the ability to record! Thaks for doing a spectacular job!!!

### 4/5 — 3 in 1

*2012-10-06, version 1.4*

I like this app so far. I really like that it's a first/then app, schedule app and AAC app all in one. It is set up pretty well too and there are different options for the size of the pictures. It seems like a pretty good AAC option for those looking for one.

### 4/5 — A good app I am sure.

*2012-10-05, version 1.4*

This app seems to be really good. I am wondering if my system downloaded it correctly, because there are no pictures. I wish there had been instructions there to help me set it up. It seems to be a lot of work to set up, but once it is done, I am sure it is extremely useful!

### 4/5 — Good AAC app

*2012-10-04, version 1.4*

This is an app that can be used for communication, for picture schedules and for first-then activities. The picture sizes can be changed to 5 different sizes. It is easy to add pictures and record voice output for each picture. I really like the first-then feature. I can see this app used both by parents and in school settings. Overall I like the app. My only concern is that having the word in the middle of each pictures tends to "block" the picture. I wish that there was some choice of where the word could be placed, either at the top or bottom.

### 5/5 — WoW! What an AWESOME app!

*2012-11-02, version 1.4*

This is an amazing app. I allows the student to use his/her voice, it is a sequencer, and scheduler. You can use your own pictures as a visual cue. This app has been very well thought out and put together! A very affordable app that does so many different tasks, Thank You Panda Pal!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2012-10-13, version 1.4*

AAC, first/then and scheduled all in one. AND it uses the same pictures for all of these options, what a great feature for a beginner user. Very soothing voice and easy to use app.

### 5/5 — A wonderful PEC system!!

*2012-10-11, version 1.4*

This app is a great change from using a paper picture exchange communication. I found it to be very thorough and easy to navigate and something I could easily teach my nonverbal child. The pictures are bright and engaging. And, it comes with extra bang for your buck! You get three apps in one. The AAC, First Then, and Scheduler. I recommend checking it out.

### 5/5 — Great for adults!

*2012-10-09, version 1.4*

This is the best AAC app available on the market!! I'm a Speech Therapist and I use this app with an adult client with Autism and so far it's been great. This app is very versatile and it allows me to modify it to fit all of my clients needs. Is super easy to navigate and user friendly and all my clients have made significant progress. The photos are very clear and the voice quality is excellent. This app is definitely worth every penny!! Thanks!!

### 5/5 — Takes the place of three apps in our house

*2012-10-09, version 1.4*

I love that this has multiple functions all using the same pictures. It is really nice to be able to have a schedule, first/then, and communication system that all use the same pictures. Much easier for my child to learn. I like that the app is so intuitive and I could just pick it up and use it.

### 5/5 — PandaPal-Autism

*2012-10-09, version 1.4*

By: Papadiz

This program is designed with both child and parent in mind. The if/ then functions help with chaining communication. Use of real pictures is great, although the panda is a little too cute for my taste. The program was easy to use from the start and operated without any glitches.

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2012-10-08, version 1.4*

This is a great parent/teacher/child friendly communication board. I love the first-then set up and the ability to personalize pictures and add sequences to the favorites folder. A great addition to the app field!

### 5/5 — Love for schedules!

*2012-10-06, version 1.4*

This app is great for making schedules for those kids that need that visual comformation of what is expected and what is coming next. I really like the real life pictures that can be used as well as the signs for words. I can see this being a great benefit for some special needs people. I have a little boy in mind right now that this app will be used with very soon!

### 5/5 — WOW

*2012-10-05, version 1.4*

If you love being able to use an app as it is and having the ability to customize it, then you are in luck. That is what this app can do. The settings can also be edited to the user's ability. Love the real pictures that are used for words/phrases.

### 5/5 — Great...awesome

*2012-10-05, version 1.4*

I can't wait to use this app with my students!! All in one app is great. I really liked the first/then ...schedule. I like all of it. Lots of options and choices.
